Majory went home just past dawn. Glowing, tired, and thrilled. Her mom took one look at her and hugged her tightly to her. Morgana laughed, and cried with her daughter. Never seen her so happy. She'd wait to tell of her news later, but for now, it was time for Majory to shine. They sat on a love seat. And chatted for the first time like best friends. Morgana finally looked at the engagment ring. Apolo did have good taste in jewelry.
"I'm going to let you get some sleep dear. You've been running on nothing but emotions!"
"I wish Morning Dew was here." She murmured sadly. Whenever something good happened, that's when she missed her most.
"I know, sweetheart. But you know she'd be happy for you."
"I know, but it won't be the same without her, at my wedding." She cried, her heart breaking.
"Oh, baby." Morgana let her daughter cry. Knowing how emotional it all was. "We're here. We'll be here for you, I know it's not the same, but we'll always be here."
Later that same day Majory dreamed. Morning Dew was standing in the forest. Black hair shining. Her native clothing on. It was her, yet she was older. It must of been what she would of looked like if she were still alive. Vibrant, caring. She held out her hand. Majory took it, like they used to do in grade school. They talked about things. What two women who were best friends would talk about.
Birds sang, a stream bubbled not far from them. "So, you're getting married, to a handsome young man, I may add." Morning Dew giggled. She even sounded older.
"Yes, I'm so happy!" She burst out.
"Mmm, good thing too. Since you have a little one on board." Her friend gazed at her slightly curved stomach. Majory reached down to cup it. Her eyes wide in shock. "If it's a girl, I expect her to share my name. Since I am how you met him." She winked.
"Of course. Pregnant. Really?" She asked, a gasp in her voice.
"It's early of course, but yeah." Morning Dew grinned. "Wulfric, that crazy wolf pup will be very protective over the baby when it gets here." Majory looked over. "Of course I know about Wulf. I know all about your happiness. And how you wanted to share it." She grabbed Majory, hugged her close to her. "I'm so happy for you, my dear. I'm here for you though you may not see me. You feel that, right?"
"Of course I do. Thank you, dear friend, thank you..."
Majory woke with a start. Tears stained her cheeks. It felt so real, she almost felt cheated to wake up and realize her friend wasn't there. But she knew, deep down, that if she were there, that's what she would of told her. She rubbed her stomach, the same gesture as in the dream. Without realizing she did so. And laid back down, her eyes wide open. And began to think about the dream...

I'll start the final chapter soon, but I had to put this here. It only seemed fitting.
