I just saw the Dark Knight Sat. night and loved it! Heath did such a awesome job as the Joker, he really made the movie! I enjoyed watching him more than Christian Bale. Loved the nurse seen the best! Anyways, I'm glad I went to see it in the theater, usually I wait till it goes on DVD. Heath as the Joker is Oscar worthy but can they give a Oscar to someone who has died?

I'm glad you liked it, Sak! And I heard there's a sequel. I bet whoever plays Joker is going to feel bad because of Heath not finishing up his character. I bet people did cry over the movie cause my best friend cried just as much at the end. I kinda teared up myself. The ending was brilliant how they dedicated this movie to Heath Ledger. It made me a little happier. He did so much better than Christan Bale and HE WAS BATMAN! Joker stole the show. RIP Heath Ledger! i know there is a 3rd batman movie, but the joker isn't the villain. i don't know how they'll play off heath's death. should be interesting. i agree. he did SO MUCH better than bale. i think they complemented each other well, but heath outshined him. ;D lisam: yes, they can give an oscar to someone who is dead. his nod would be posthumously (which has only been done i believe 4 times). but it's unlikely that even if he was nominated that he would received it. out of those 4 nods (one was given to james dean btw...just had to put that out there cause he's my favorite actor. lol.)...only 1 has ever gone on to actually win it. i say at the least he should be nominated.

I hope he gets it!!!!!! Or I'll possibly boycott. He was absoutly amazing in it! I was def scared of the Joker. bubblebutt, I didn't know it was James Dean, and I thought he was a singer..my bad.

The only actor to win an Oscar posthumously was Peter Finch, who won the Academy Award for Best Actor in 1977 for his role in the movie Network.
