"let's put a smile on that face!" ;D if you have plans to or get the chance...WATCH THE DARK KNIGHT! heath ledger is freakin' AMAZING as Joker. HEATH, . i only wanted to watch it because of him, but the movie is actually really great (seeing as i'm not a huge batman fan.) but even with all the internet buzz, i do hope heath gets the oscar nod he deserves. if he was still alive, this movie would have made him a HUGE STAR! RIP HEATH.

I agree bubblebutt! He totally made Joker him. He did all the stunts, and I still cringe when he gets knocked into that glass mirror. Ouch. I think his performance was better than Christian Bale, but that's just me. I love the nurse part, that was hilarious! It's sad he's gone, he was so young and wasn't even finished yet. I absoutly love him! RIP Heathy!

the nurse part was hilarious!
everything about the joker was awesome.
i also loved the pencil magic trick...that has to be the best introduction to a character EVER. i cringed when he did it, but it was fabulous. plus his laugh in his intro too...totally made him seem so psychotic.
loved it.
i actually wanna see it again. lol.

His intro, I thought was at the VERY beginning..where they were robbing the bank? He took off his mask and put that bomb in his mouth and jumped into the bus. But you're probably right. I love him as a nurse! That was hilarious. And you could tell it was Heath, his arms are so tan! Or being that jail cell with Batman or with that guy in the jail cell. 'Do you know how many of your friends I've killed?' His laugh gave me the chills, my best friend loves that! Do you know the part where batman hits Heath against the glass mirror? That was real, Heath does his own stunts. And he laughs about! He's amazing! I wish he was here to witness this. I wanna see it again too! Two times isn't enough for me.

I'm sure it's going to play for awhile. Like the first Pirates of The Carribean, it was out for like 2 months. So I'm sure you'll be ok for a weeks wait.

I might have missed this, but did he ever say he was the joker or anything? Just for that fact alone...I think I need to go see it again. lol. I LOVED HIS LAUGH too. It was so great. I also heard he did his own stunts...that's dedication right there. To knowingly get thrown into a mirror AND still talk like a coherent person (well, we know the joker isn't really all that "coherent" but still) that awesome! I really wish he had been able to see his impact now. I think he would have been proud.

I really wish he had been able to see his impact now. I think he would have been proud. Yes he did say he was...but didn't outright say it. He said "Here's my card." And it had the Joker on it. That's the scene where he does the pencil trick. He's absoutly insane, I don't care what my dad says. He liked the other version. But I like Heath as the Joker not Jack Nickelson. Heath made it his own character. I can't even touch glass let alone be thrown into one and still laugh. I love him for that. I miss him so much. Yesterday was the 6th month anniversary of his death. I wish he was here to see it, but he probably wouldn't like the publicity.

Heath Ledger stole the show in his role as Joker in the Dark Knight! I loved the shrug at the end of his nurse scene. It was just perfect! I've heard several people say that they can't watch it because they will just be too sad. My opinion is that if you are a fan then you should honor Heath because it is his crowing achievement as an actor.
My son wanted to see Dark Knight on an Imax screen so we managed that on our short vacation. It was almost more stimulation than this middle aged lady could stand. I want to watch it again though because I'm sure that I missed a lot the first time. Batman is my favorite of all the superhero characters.

I'm glad you liked it, Sak! And I heard there's a sequel. I bet whoever plays Joker is going to feel bad because of Heath not finishing up his character. I bet people did cry over the movie cause my best friend cried just as much at the end. I kinda teared up myself. The ending was brilliant how they dedicated this movie to Heath Ledger. It made me a little happier. He did so much better than Christan Bale and HE WAS BATMAN! Joker stole the show. RIP Heath Ledger!
