Hey guys! Before I put my story up, I just want everyone to know that it's pure fiction and the character named Jennifer is me but the last name is different. Everyone in the story is real but has never happened. It's pure fiction. I'm kinda nervous but enjoy! “Ok, It’s 6:47 PM at Willington Hospital. Patient number 28, Jennifer Samson has been called dead at the scene. We tried resuscitating her but she never drew a breath, Doctor. What should we do?” Adam yelled into the phone, chewing at his finger nails in frustration. He never could save a life. “We have a reputation here, Adam. Try it again.” Adam slammed the cell phone shut and got back to work. He tried some more chest pumping and listened for any sight of a breath. He didn’t need this. But he kept trying anyway. He knew she was in a car accident but the way her face looked, all crushed and some of her teeth were missing, it looked like she was slammed into a brick wall. And her chest didn’t look so hot either. And there was blood everywhere. It wasn’t looking so good at this point. He was about ready to give up. that's the first paragraph, tell me what you all think.

Thanks Ally. I know poor Jennifer. But it gets better. Dave is my poppop's name. He died in 2001. And this all fiction. Whatever Jesus does in the story, doesn't mean he really does it. It's just my imagination running wild. Enjoy. “Jesus, Adam, what the heck are you doing to my granddaughter?” He knew Adam couldn’t hear him from up here but he wanted to voice his opinion anyway. “Hey, watch the name, man.” “Well, y’know how things just slip.” “Now, Dave, listen, if she arrives up here. She’s going to have to go through me. Don’t go all, panicky, alright?” They were both facing the pearly golden gates. Jesus was wearing a white gown and a brown rope tied around his waist. His long brown hair flew about his face and a glow formed around him. Dave was wearing a blue gown and a blue NY hat on top of his head, so people didn’t realize he was losing hair. Dave remembered when he arrived here seven years ago. He wasn’t wearing the same outfit but he knew he was in heaven the minute he saw the gates. It was in bible, and he always read it at night before he went to bed. He met Peter right where he stood now. Peter ignolged him and he went right on through. Everybody recognized him and people partied right outside his new home. He grunted when he saw Jen coming closer. He loved to hug her in that tight bear hug but not this early when she was so young. She had on a blue skirt and a tie dyed shirt on with white sandals. She looked like she came out of a Hansel and Gretel story. Her hair, dark brown, flew from her pony tail. He missed her so much. “Hello, my dear child. Come on through.” She had a puzzled look on her face, “Where am I?” Dave shook his head, she must have peanuts in the brain, a disorder, once you hit heaven, you forget about where you came from. “Munchkin…” Her face lit up and yelled, “Poppie!” And they embraced while Jesus looked on in delight. He didn’t notice that another person was right by him, “Dave, I need help with this script. I’m trying to figure out if I should say, ‘Yo, here’s my card‘…or is it, ‘Here’s my card?’” His arms flew about with feeling and was too fixed on the script. “Heath, I’m kind of busy right now.” He was kind of taken a back but he understood. He knew when families see each other, it’s almost like a festival. He saw Jennifer once Dave and her took a step back and he saw she had little tears in her eyes. He was struck by her beauty. He loved her golden brown hair the most. “Hey, Jennifer, this is Heath.” She smiled at him and they both shook hands. She saw how beautiful his dirty blonde hair looked, while down. She knew him as actor Heath Ledger. “Hi Heath.” His smile took her breath away. “Hey Jen.” She heard an Austrian accent hidden in that mouth of his. And she wondered how it tasted. She looked away and Jesus shook his head, she knew Jesus must had read her mind. “Jennifer!” She looked around her Grandfather and she knew that voice belonged to her best friend Sarah Volk. She died from a heart disorder two years ago. “Sarah, yo! Doug’s still ugly, ya know.” Sarah shook her head and gave her something back in return, “well, ya know, Johnny Depp’s not so hot either.” She blushed once Heath realized her fascination. “Oh, so Johnny, eh?” They all giggled and Jen hit him lightly, “I’m not in love with him anymore. The man is like, entient.” She bit her tip and looked over at Jesus, apolitically, “Sorry Jesus.” He waved his hand and laughed. “We should totally have a slumber party. Lets go!” She took Jen’s hand and they ran to the nearest house to crash.

thanks. Dave shook his head after she was out of sight. “Heath, I want you to look out for her. I don’t think she knows how heaven is. I still think she’s confused.” He smiled and nodded. They both knew they thought highly of themselves and Heath was eager to be put in Dave’s good list. River Phoenix was on his bad list. After Phoenix laughed at Dave’s singing at the concert hall, River was doomed to fail. Sometimes Heath made plays there. He was almost always the main lead in the play. “And about that script, don’t make your hands fly all over the place. Relax and have fun.” He patted Heath’s shoulder, “I think of you as a grandson, you know. Don’t tell anybody, they might get all up in arms.” He nodded despite Dave’s whisper and gave him a small hug. “And don’t go falling in love with her either. She’s not staying here long.” He nodded, despite his eagerness to be with her. He couldn’t turn on Dave, he just couldn’t. There's more to come soon. Enjoy, friend.

awh, thanks. “Ok, see, you look ridiculous.” Jen and Sarah both laughed at their refection in the mirror. They were trying to dye Jen’s hair blonde but the stuff went all over the place. In her clothes and her shoes. The carpet was clean free, despite some spots. “How about my hair? You like?” “I hate it!” They both turned their heads to the door and saw Heath standing there with his shoulder against the wall. His hair was pulled back in a pony tail and his white shirt was now blue and his legs were covered with jean shorts. He wore Doc Martins on his bare feet. “You know, you should wear socks with those. Your feet will stink.” Jen answered, and Sarah and her shared a laugh. “Not up here it won’t. You’re in heaven now, babe.” Sarah went silent and Jen frowned, “Don’t call me babe. And why are you here?” His smile slowly disappeared, “Why, you don’t want me here? Is that it?” Jen crossed the room and was inches from his face, “Why are you following me? Did Jesus sent you?” She slowly backed away with Sarah sitting cross legged on her bed, still with shoes on. “I’m not going to lie, here. Your poppop gave me strict orders to watch you. Wherever you go, I go, sorry cupcake.” She slowly flashed him the bird and a nickel rain into her hand out of thin air. “What’s a nickel doing in my hand?” He slowly giggled and he stood up right and answered, “If you get ten nickels you go on a trip to Satin world. That’s how it works. You better watch yourself, you have nine more to go. And that goes for curse words too.” “Ok, what else don’t I know?” She crossed her arms over her chest while he explained how if you even think of things in your head they go straight to Jesus. Whatever you say, goes through the ‘Place In The Sky.’ Heath calls it the ‘sanctuary’ where God and Jesus make plans and sip coffee. And people hear about it, in an instant. That’s why I need to control my need for her, he thought. He softly apologized to Jesus but just couldn’t help it, she looked good with blonde hair. A red scarf appeared around his neck and Jen stood, shocked. “Ok, what just happened?” His face started turning a little shade of red and Sarah laughed hysterically. “Sarah, why you laughing? I don’t under-” “He thought of something sexually and now Jesus is putting clothes on him. It’s simple, really.” Jen didn’t even make a sound, just looked into Heath’s eyes and they both looked away. Then a yellow hat appeared on Jen’s new blonde hair. “Ok, this is getting bizarre. Tootles.” Sarah leaped off the bed and went straight for the chicken nuggets in the freezer downstairs. They both stood for over a minute until Jesus appeared. “I never in my life knew this would happen. I don’t like what I’m hearing from both of you,” Jen and Heath both looked away from Jesus, “I want this all to stop and that’s my favorite scarf.” Heath took it off and gave it to Jesus and Jesus disappeared with a snap of his fingers. “Hey, he likes red.” Jen laughed and Heath sniffled a giggle. I really do enjoy your comments and your opinions, Ally!

thanks Ally, thanks for liking it! Heath coughed nervously, “Heath, I’m sorry you died so young.” She tried looking into his eyes but just couldn’t, whatever she spoke through her eyes, he shown back. “That’s not your fault. Jesus said it was my time. But I’m not quite sure it’s yours.” They both retreated to the kitchen where Sarah was getting another glass of Pepsi. “Well, look who just dropped in, the love birds. Did Jesus show up?” “Yes, Jesus showed up. Did you tell him to come?” Heath dropped his gaze into Sarah’s eyes from across the table while Jen tried to act calm. “Why do you think I had something to do with it, actor boy?” She took a sip from her Pepsi, “Oh, I don’t know…it just seems like you been making my life a living hell.” He sarcastically put his palm open and a nickel flew into his hand. Jen bit her lip, weakly, “That was my second nickel.” He looked to the ceiling, thinking more would sail through. This time he was lucky. “Eight more to go, Heath.” Sarah said it, like she didn’t care what happened to him, that’s what made him not like her that much. “Ok, you know what-” Jen took his elbows, since that was the only thing she could reach, “Heath, relax, ok?” He must be 6 feet, I can’t even reach his shoulders, she thought. Behind her, Sarah rolled her eyes and tore through a bag of potato chips. Jen slowly, let go his elbows and looked around the kitchen. Stuff was all in disarray. Behind Heath was a stove and a window, the black top table was right in the middle of the room where Sarah liked to eat her meals. Three chairs sat around the table, a refrighter stood against the wall, behind Sarah and couple shelves and bureau’s stood all about the room. Some stains were invading the white floor and some flour particles were all over the table. Magazines about Jesus Christ were scattered all over the walls. But what she liked the most was a radio that was perched on a shelf beside the refrigerator, plugged in. “I don’t like you either, you know.” Jen softly sighed coming back to reality and realized she left them, still arguing. “And what’s with ‘I’m so serious’ stuff?” Heath rolled his eyes, “It’s ‘Why so serious?’ And the paint isn’t permanent.” He said it with force, thinking what she was going to say next would be about his face paint. “And your hair was green.” Jen couldn’t stomach another word, so she retreated upstairs. She loved the sound of creaking on the steps, it made her think of the house she wanted to buy at Wachapreague, Virginia. This house must be old, she thought. Jesus answered through her head, that she was correct. Once she got to the top of the landing she heard footsteps behind. “Why so serious?” She jumped back and almost tumbled down the stairs but Heath cached her just in time. He sounded just like the Joker, she couldn’t help but think of that dream she had of the character chasing after her. She couldn’t remember if she lived or died. “Thanks, Heath. I almost cracked my head open.” He sniffled a giggle, hoping she didn’t hear him laugh. “That wouldn’t happen up here. Nothing breaks. Hey, no hospital bill.” She hit him softly, “Ha ha, very funny.” He grabbed her hand, delicately and told her to touch his earlobe. “You feel that,” Jen nodded with a puzzled look on her face. “My daughter Matilda, she’s three years old now. She threw a baseball bat when we were in New York. I was trying to teach her how to swing but the bat hit my ear instead.” She bit her lip out of sympathy and she knew, in his eyes, he missed his little girl. “Ouch.” “I was completely out for about five minutes. Thank God nobody took her.” She saw his eyes get squint, “What just happened?” He heaved a sigh and relaxed while he motioned for her to go upstairs. “I thought Jesus would strike me with a lighting rod, or something…” They went into Sarah’s guest room, where all it held was a dresser, mirror, queen size bed, desks and a lamp on her dresser. The walls were colors of blue, her favorite color. “What if he does, then what happens?” They both sat on the bed facing the door. “You get put in the sanctuary for a few hours listening to hymn music.” She giggled when she saw his disgusted look on his face. “Oh, it can’t be that bad.” “It is bad. It sings the same song over and over. You’re almost ready to rip your hair out.” They both shared a laugh until the door got swung open, “Who took my Doug scrapbook? Heath, I swear-” “Don’t say it!!” Jen followed her gaze to the bedside table and it magically appeared. Sarah took it, “I knew it was you.” And then just like that she was gone. Heath burst out laughing and Jen jumped to her feet in defense. “Heath, why can’t you guys get along? You seem like brother and sister. And that’s just creepy.” “In all honesty, Jesus put me with her when I arrived here, almost a year ago. She just drives me insane. Once you get here, purposively you get partnered with someone and you have to live with them for 3 months and then it changes. Jesus is trying to use this strategy to get to know each other better, I guess.” She nodded and understood, “So I’m partnered with you for a few months, huh?” He shrugged his shoulders, “That, and take care of you.” Her stomach fluttered and she knew she was starting to fall in love with him. Enjoy friends! ;D ;D
