I'm worried sick over it now. He was helping someone at Home Depot move a fridge. Well he pulled a Cristian and messed up his arm pretty badly. That's just the begining. (I don't know if it was the tendon or muscle that was torn btw) So he goes in for surgery yesterday, waits for at least two hours (I waited an hour or so for mine...slow hospitals!) then gets it done. He said he was worried about going under and not waking up...my aunt had to be brought back to life after they gave her too much...her heart stopped. Anyway. Goes home, and I think it was today that his breathing was labored, so an ambulance came and got him, they did something for his breathing (don't know the details) and asked his wife for family history on cancer and heart trouble. My dad had colon cancer...it's scary, he's had seizures and can't afford a c.a.t. scan...you get the idea, I'm worried sick. Now I'm going to be thinkin what could be wrong until I get more details, he goes back Tuesday. Keep him in your thoughts please. Thanks.

The surgery worked, but my sister in law made it sound like they are worried about other things than just his arm, hence I'm worried about it. Thanks Jen and aofreak. I'm just worried is all.

I'm sure all the prayers will go in his favor of recovering and finding out what's wrong other than his arm. I REALLY hope you find out what's bothering him right now.

My brother called a little while ago. His throat is still sore from the tube. I hated that, I couldn't get enough to drink after coming to. He said he's allergic to Tylenol 3. I remember saying something like that after having taking something with the same ingredient when he had problems with kidney stones. He's afraid to take anything else. I'm sure they'll figure something out for him to take. Like Ibueprofin or the like. His wife is allergic to tylenol as well. We are supposed to go down for a visit today. I'll ask him how he is when I get there. I hope he takes it easy, he's always working his butt off. Time to rest...

i've heard allergies to medicines are the worse...i sure hope he's feeling better now that they know what caused it .
and yes, maybe this is a sign for him to slow down a bit for now.

thanks for the update Tab! I hope when you meet him he's in GREAT condition. And maybe ask him when he's coming home? But you're probably already there. I pray that he recovers, I've had kidney stones and it ain't fun. I'm also alergic to some drugs.

He was a little bit sleepy when I was up there. His throat is still sore. He's bandaged up pretty good though he wasn't wearing his sling for his arm. He's supposed to go get it re wrapped sometime tomorrow. He said his arm/hand hurts a little. And it was his tricep that got hurt. He said the muscle went 'flat' and it put him into shock. And he has a new med to take for the pain, he's scared, but he should try it. We were there for about an hour or so. So far it's looking okay for him. Let's see how it goes...

I'm so glad he's getting better. He should take the pill. Just to see how it goes. But thanks for updating.

Glad to hear that your brother is doing better. Tell him to take it easy for awhile and he should be fine.

They removed the old bandages, put new on, and gave him a better sling. He's supposed to lay around, my other brother is supposed to go down and help him cut the lawn and the sort. The kids are home if he needs help, my niece is a teen, and my nephew is ten. They can take turns and do his chores. It must be a pain to do everyday things that we take for granted. Even changing clothes. That should get easier with time. He said he almost fell out of bed the other night...vivid dreamer like myself. Good thing he didn't...
