I hope Manu gets heals quickly.
I am happy that football season is here especially college football. My Longhorns won their game, and they retired Vince Young's number on Saturday.

Vince Young is awesome. I just hope my Nebraska CornHuskers can stop the bleeding on the defensive side of things. They need some help, and it's going to take a while to get back to being good like they were before. I missed the Mizzou and Illini game. Bet that was a fun one.

Oy, I forgot about the coach. I can only imagine. He and LaRussa are ones I would not want to cross.

I watched some of the Mizzou vs. Illini when I was not listening to the UT game. The UT game was only on pay per view and UT's channel Bevod. Vince is awesome, and he is seems so down to earth. He actually attends school during the off season at UT to finish his degree plan because it was a promise he made to his mom. for manu's sake he better heal fast!...pops is pissed! Pop was upset, but then said it was preferrable for the injury to happen when it did, and not during the season. Manu having surgery now is a good thing because he can be ready for the playoffs.

Manu is having his surgery done in California tomorrow(later on today since it's after midnight for me). I hope everything goes well for him. He will be out for twelve weeks, and hopefully will be back by January.

May Manu have a speedy recovery. I hate it when my favorite guys get injured. Speaking of, poor Joe Mather broke his wrist. I was looking forward to watching him play. Talk about bad luck. But Josh Kinney (who has the most amazing lashes for a guy) is back. He's missed nearly two years. Ah, The Cards won. I'm happy.

Yikes, 11:30pm seems like a really late start for a match to start.
Manu's surgery was a success, and he will be in a splint and/or on crutches for three weeks before starting rehab on his left ankle.
