Oh gosh, I hope he's not going to miss out. And you didn't spell anything wrong. Keep thinking positive.

poor boy, it's a type 1 (the mildest) mcl sprain. out for a month. his season is done. no olympics, and i doubt a sept call up. he gets hurt at the worst possible time. he hurt his groin before the future game, now this. like i said, here's hoping to arizona fall league. he must be feeling down on himself right about now, one would guess. number1, could we PLEASE borrow krod for a series. we could use the help.

i just heard on the radio that krod wants $15m/year starting next year...i'm pretty sure the angels won't sign him at that price

jeeze, and i thought 8 mil for jason isringhausen was bad. (and to make things worse, he's declined even more) looper is looking good. looks like he's on it tonight. please continue loop. i think colby can only get stronger after this mess of a season.

well i sure hope so...i'm pulling for the guy. the money these athletes make! i hate knowing, i like to be in the dark about it...eeek looper didn't make it that far in the game, wonder why, i sorta feel asleep, oops. c.c. went and pitched a scorless complete game. and struck out yadi. which is a feat all on it's own. he only strikes out every 20 at bats. best in the majors...poo. haven't checked on memphis yet.
woo. memphis won 1-0, now that's how you win a ball game. sweet. ;D

Hey girls, long time no see. I have been hanging out at an RM site which I was a member of for two years, and the administrators decided to close down because they didn't have enough time to run it. I was a bit sad because I would not be able to keep in touch with all the people from Europe that I talked to on the boards every single day, but two members opened up a new forum which I have been hanging out at since June 26.
Tabs sorry to hear about Colby, but he's young and as Number1 said it's a character building experience...what doesn't kill you makes you stronger kind of thing.
I can't wait to see the Olympics. I love swimming, diving, basketball, rowing, kayaking, synchronized swimming, gymnastics (both mens and womens), track and field, and cycling. I will definitely see the kayaking portion because the team has their winter practices in my hometown. They practice at the Rio Vista falls on the San Marcos river.
Oh, and yes Manu is playing for Argentina. Manu came to SA to get a final check on the ankle, then departed for Argentina where the president gave him the flag that he will carry into the stadium during the opening ceremony.

'sup mellie...missed ya around here!
glad someone was able to start up another rm site for you...how neat to be able to talk to peeps from other countries on a daily basis!
i share your enthusiasm for the upcoming olympics too...15 days and counting! ;D ...for me it's b-ball (of course), gymnastics, track and field, swimming, diving and whatever else catches my fancy. eta: volleyball and tennis too!!!
a us women swimmer has recently tested positive for drugs, so that will affect that teams mojo considerably...sad to see that the use of illegal drugs has tainted the olympics/sports in general sooo much...what are these athletes thinking?
hope you're around here for the olympics!
