Number1, you make me laugh. I hope they figure out what's going with baseball. I hope they come around and change their mind. A lot of people love watching baseball. Especially durning the Olympics, it's like basketball.

*sigh* heath. Starting to feel poetic again... back to baseball. I don't know. Baseball seems and feels American to me. I know Japan loves it, and Hispanics do too. (South American, down in that area...) Maybe it doesn't have that world wide feel to it anymore. Sad, really. Cardinals came back to win a close one. Albert is the mang. Haha. I love it when he adds the 'g' to anything that ends with the letter 'n' Albert has a chubby face here. He looks like a giant kid. I love it. And I forget how nice his teeth are. I love another pic of him and Houston Astro's first baseman Lance Berkman. I'll post it later in the sports photo thread.

ok, my fave mlb team are the la angels... that still sounds weird to me...they were the anaheim angels for sooo long
i usually don't get involved with baseball until after their all-star break (the season is too long - 162 games)
but i just read they swept the bo-sox!!!...that made my day
Fri 7/18 @laa 11, BOS 3 Sat 7/19 @laa 4, BOS 2 Sun 7/20 @laa 5, BOS 3

Giants trade Jeremy Shockey to The New Orleans Saints. Didn't see that one coming. Colby went 2 for 5, a single, double, stolen base and run scored. Memphis wins. Cardinals lose 6-3 in the 10th. The wild card just got tighter. Storm moving in, better shut this thing down...

well i read his dad say he went down after the check swing grabbing his leg, and heard the 'pop' and i was like 'aw crap' then he said colby was walking around afterwards even though they said (the doc) it could be his mcl. way to take it easy. and said that it didn't hurt 'too bad' stubborn! both the cardinals and redbirds lose. cardinals had the lead going into the 8th...and imploded.
