Elle said she worked in a pub, so she may not even be off work yet in Merry Old England! As for the chocolate with chili....I was introduced to this little piece of heaven at the Copola Winery in Napa. We got to taste a $100 bottle of cab, (went down like velvet! You really CAN tell the difference with a good bottle of wine...) His sister Sofia had imported some Italian chocolate with a hint of chili in it. We sat there in the sun, sipping our wine, savoring our chocolate - and making such sounds of pleasure, that the guys at the table next to us asked us what we were eating. Well OF COURSE we had to share our new found pleasure, and the next thing ya know, there were several tables of people making very satisfied sounds of ecstasy! ...I've been hooked ever since!  |

Hopefully this link below will work. This is a little video that my sister put together. The plush doll, Bradley, featured in the video is the doll that Apolo signed for my nephew. The first time I met Apolo was at Nationals in Cleveland in Feb '07. He burst out laughing when I handed him "Bradley" to sign. I loved watching Apolo's reaction! ok ladies...tell me your favorite aao moment of 2007-08... I hafta pick just one?  Surely you jest..... Well, if I'm gonna be pressed to choose, it would have to be at WC6. After a tough WC5, and an obviously disappointed Apolo in his first race at WC6, when he finally got the win on Sundays race, the look of sheer satisfaction and subdued joy as he circled the rink was a joy to see. That and his sheer teeth gritting determination and all out locomotion on the relays was something I am grateful to have seen in person, and a memory I will never forget! ;D .....that and sharing it all with my fellow sista's here at GA!  The rest of you really must join us this fall! ;D |

DebbieF, I can see 'Bradley' (too cute), but I can't get the video to play... Favorite 2007-2008 moment? Camera Lessons By Apolo.101 in San Diego - Camera Lessons By Apolo.201 in SLC. Don't you agree, DebbieF? (Oh, right, you trumped me by falling into his arms during Camera Lesson By Apolo.201...  ) Maybe aaosmts19 should just ask Apolo what kind of camera to buy. From my experience, he's an expert... EDIT: Mtnme, YES, that 'teeth-gritting' relay was beyond belief!!! |
