I just liked his hair when it was longer. He definately has great taste in clothes and knows how to dress for his body type. His dad also has great style so maybe it runs in the family.

I hate to say (or write) this but I kind of wish Apolo would either cut his hair short or let it grow long again. He looks really good but I'm not getting the hair. I've been told that Apolo got his haircut on the East Coast.  Kirkland... keep a look out for AAO in Seattle... perhaps a visit to Yuki's talented scissors...  on the east coast hmmm.....julianne was near philadelphia, in west chester specifically, on QVC a couple of weeks ago, April 22 and 23rd. Perhaps Apolo travelled with her to practice their dance. Originally they were suppose to do Life is a Highway and then at the last minute it was changed to Everyday. John is also close bye, correct? in Reading.... it was great to see them dance again... |

Yep, Apolo needs a different and less frequent haircut. Speaking of which, it is time for me to schedule mine. I know there are quite a few of you on this board that do not like Apolo and Julianne together. Without going into all of that, I have one observation from looking at the photos from the 100th episode and after party posted on another board: Julianne smiles different with Apolo than with her other dance partners. They have "something"...not claiming to know what it is, but it isn't the same as with the others. Maybe it is nothing more than "he was her first" and that they share a special bond because of it. I don't want to see Apolo go Hollywood either, and Julianne is well on that road. I think that if we've learned anything about the super private Apolo, it is that he is a multi-faceted person. P.S. I know he LOVES those Prada shoes, but, my lord, I hate them! And that suit....why or why could she not have dressed him in a black shirt without the clunky jacket? Watch...we will come to find out that it was Apolo's own suit  |

I agree. They have "something", whether it's a really, really good friendship or something more, I don't know. I think if they do have something, then they're experts at hiding it. But I also think that if they do get together, it isn't going to be until closer or after the Olympics in 2010, when he is finished with the Olympics  and her career is steady. As far as Apolo goes, I really don't think he is going to go "Hollywood" anytime soon. I highly doubt something like that is on his mind right now. Plus, if he is going to compete in 2010, he doesn't have the time. And the Prada shoes, I think they're okay (if they're paired with the right outfit). |

they do look real cute together,and he needs a girlfirend with a good head on her shoulders(like julianne or me,lol),but i believe their nothing more then just great friends,because i dont think they would ruin a great friendship over lust.I dont know, thats what i think.i could be wrong..But i think Apolo and i also make a cute couple..LOL..(let me wake up from my dream)Nite everybody |

I was kind of surprised - it's the most she's admitted publicly regarding her feelings for him, I think. I do agree that she absolutely lights up around him, doesn't she? But then again, who wouldn't? |

I would much rather see Apolo with someone like Allison Baver than with Julianne. She's cute and all but too young and is definately going the Hollywood route. A fellow athlete would have more in common with him and would understand the priority placed on training, and the time required to do that. Ever notice how olympic athletes tend to date and marry other olympic athletes? I would imagine it's a challenge to date a non-athlete who would want to spend time with you and you have to train and go away on competitions, etc.

I haven't been an A/J shipper for almost a year now because I need to believe them when they say they are just friends. But there is definitely "something" there. The chemistry between them on and off the dance floor is still incredible. Some people thought Julianne and Helio had a lot of chemistry last season...but I didn't see it at all. And I agree that Julianne smiles differently when she's with Apolo than she does with anyone else. She just lights up from within. It seems like Apolo and Julianne are on two different paths right now, so who knows if these two will ever get together romantically...but I wouldn't mind if they did.  |

I agree that high caliber athletes often end up together, but more in the figure skating world than other sports. Apolo could very well end up with another athlete...or someone in an unrelated field that he hasn't met yet. I don't care who either of them end up with as long as Apolo is happy and remains true to himself.
Less I be accused of being a shipper, I want to clarify. I said in my post above that Julianne smiles differently when she is with Apolo - she does. Do I think they have had a secret relationship all this time...NO! The odds are against things changing because their lives are on totally different, life consuming paths. Could be they truly are not each other's type. But there is "something" between them, and I am not certain that even they know it.

I don't think Julianne is as "devout" a Mormon as we think. I mean, regarding her and Zack, I remember on Dance War, Bruno told him to be more sexy or something like that, and he said later that he's not comfortable with that (or something to that extent), so I really don't think that her religious beliefs are what's stopping them (if they do want a relationship, that is). I think that if they do feel that way about each other, their careers are too time consuming right now to persue it. I guess well see in a couple years. They do keep in touch quite frequently.
And her comment about "that could never happen", maybe she sees a relationship with Apolo like we would see a relationship between us and Brad Pitt or something like that.
