I think I actually forgot to post this here--we have 30-something new videos in the archive...! ;D I worked on them over my spring break and it did take about a week for me to get them all uploaded, and then I never notified anyone. I got a question what was said in the last part of the Jay Leno video from after the 2006 games.I get cut off right after Apolo says something about his teamates hair(I am also still curious as to who it was Allison or Halie is my guess though)

My guess is certainly Allison. I don't think the whole team was there, just a few!  Apolo's posse... his coaches, his special friends and his Dad, probably. |

No, he wasn't talking about Allison. I don't know who he said, but I know it wasn't Allison. To my knowledge, he didn't say... so my guess was that it was Allison. Who else would come get him instead one of their coaches? Just a hopeful guess.  Where did you hear that it wasn't Allison? As far as we know, it is unclear if they were dating during the Olympics, but Allison sure thought they were when she talked of Valentine's Day on that NBC video during the Games. It makes sense that she was sharing the same house with him, right? Did anyone rip that, by the way?  |

He didn't say a name, but here may be a clue for any who are interested: When I first heard Apolo talk about the 'ghost' episode on the Tonight Show, I thought back to something I saw during the closing ceremonies. When the athletes were walking into the stadium, the camera was on Apolo walking with a female athlete and the two were in conversation about something - my memory says she reached up and pulled her hair back in the same gesture that Apolo used on the Tonight Show to describe what the ghost did - then he nodded/smiled or something. The gesture was unusual enough that when I saw his appearance on the TS, I thought back and wondered if that was the teammate who saw the ghost. I never checked back to see who it was, and my Olympics recordings are long gone, but if anybody still has it, it would be interesting to see if my memory was correct! I seem to remember this girl had light brown or dark blonde hair, and for some reason I think she might have even been an athlete from another sport - but he still could have considered her a 'teammate'... |

I remember seeing a pic from the closing ceremonies and Allison was sitting by Apolo.
