Awww...that is so precious. RZ is a beautiful and much adored baby. The mom and grandma in me just loves the baby updates on the blog.

Our favorite LT speedskater competed this past weekend in the LT Nationals at the Petit Center in Milwaukee.  Andrew's had some major "life experiences" this year which have challenged his ability to train as he would like. Ever the positive guy, he adjusted his goals for Nationals and met them both! SHout out to everyone....Jessica has been pretty ill these past few months and has taken a turn for the worse and is in ICU. Andrew and I emailed and he says its really scarier than he's let on in the blog...The blockage is caused by the massive inflammation in her body; infection disease doctores are puzzled. Jess is a vet tech so they are thinking she's picked up something nasty from working with dogs: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ToxocariasisKeep them in your prayers. Needless to say, he's done with LT for the season. |

Where is Dr House when you need him?!!!  After meeting these two lovely people in SLC, it's just heartbreaking. Keeping all of them in my thoughts and prayers...and I pray they figure this out quickly, so Jess can have a speedy recovery. |

I'm heartbroken to hear that this amazing and inspiring family is going through this. I'll keep Jessica in my prayers daily - RZ needs her mommy, and Andrew needs his sweetheart...

OMG...what horrifying news for any family, let alone a NEW one...
dove...thanks for bringing the most encouraging news of jess' turnaround.
