I was going to wait until Monday to do this because I wanted to give Lindsey time to get back with me on the PM I sent her about this but, for various reasons, I really feel I need to go ahead and do this now.
I just want to let everyone know that I will be leaving the board. For the most part, I have really enjoyed my time here. It has been fun to get to know you wonderful Apolo fans. I am leaving for several reasons. The primary one is that my family needs me far more than this forum does. Since I have joined here, and especially when I became mod, I have been spending too much time online, staying up too late and stressing about things that aren't worth stressing over. I had been thinking about leaving all week but the final straw came on Friday. I was on the forum and my little daughter asked me to read her a story. I told her, "Not right now, Mommy is busy." As soon as the words left my mouth I realized how messed up my priorities have become. There are other reasons I am leaving but my family is the primary one.
I plan on deleting my account as soon as I post this message. Sorry to be so abrupt in my goodbye but I just feel like this should be my last time here.
I have grown very fond of many of you and I will miss you but I know, in my heart, that I am making the right decision. I wish you all the very best.
