Oh wow. Ladies are already thinking and probably applying for "Mother of Apolo's future childrens" position. That could be scarry. However, I do believe Apolo is going to participate in the 2010 Olympics. I do believe him saying in an interview how after the sh!tty dwts, he is to continue training towards the next Olympics. Apolo will be 27 years old by then. That same year, 2010, Apolo will be turning 28. He was 23 during the last Olympics of 2006. Later that same year, Apolo turned 24. Apolo recently turned 25 years old. I am very much looking forward the news of his compatition in the coming Winter olympics. YEAH!!!

I agee with you, elle. I don't know why I find it so incredibly sexy when he nonchalantly walked away from those two burly guys grabbing hold of him to stop him from going into the rink -- and just a yard or so away he just calmly goes over the barrier. Mama Mia! Anybody else would be panicky angry (for what happened earlier) pissed at the refs scared etc. - and he's cool as a cucumber.

I too found that extremely sexy. He took charge and didn't look back! It was so unexpected, yet so thrilling to think Apolo had that in him! Yowza... sexy!
Oh, and p.s. - Apolo will have children when he finally finds me!

I find it kind of surprising that Apolo was late or seemed to have forgotten about this race. Not like him. And the Italian referees seemed bent on preventing him from entering the rink in time for the start. I don't believe they didn't recognize him. I have a suspicious nature sometimes, so I'm wondering if they just didn't want him competing with the Italian skater. Nah, couldn't be. Or could it?
I thought Apolo was distracted and unfocused because of this confusion. I saw him spit at the starting line, something I never saw him do before. Maybe he was disgusted, because of some kind of misinformation given to him?

It's that James Dean type of nonchalance, I think. There's a scene during dwts when Julianne is sorta fake mad at him and takes a punch at him and kicks him, and he just keeps slowly sauntering towards the mirror with this unconcerned look on his face. That tough silent-type thing going on - and it's not like Apolo, generally - he's usually very present to other people, eyes wide open and looking into their eyes, very receptive, so when he goes "too cool for school" it's just that much MORE sexy than the guys who act like that all the time. Well, I don't know if that made sense.... You know, I'm forever being surprised by Apolo. He has so many sides to him - the strong silent-side, the romantic open-eyed vulnerable side, the silly goofy side, the stoic self-torturing side, the gentle sentimental side (seems like that comes out around children), the serious businessman side, the philosophical Zen sort of side, the Hollywood side, the glam-boy side w/the clothes and the Rolex etc., the confrontational side (rarish but I think he keeps a lid on it but I think it's there from little snippets I've read), who knows how many more? The Gemini in him? Or maybe just his astronomical IQ - it's gotta be way on up there. |
