This is Lily's pick, but as much as I love the close up of it that Lily just posted, I think she cut off some of the best part!  ... oh, those legs!!!  ... you beat me to it... I was going to re-post the *full view* (under the cropped pic)!  You didn't really think I'd post a *full view* close-up???   The last time I labeled it *enhanced*, which got some really hilarious retorts!!! We might have pages go missing again! (Just teasing!)  Back on the road soon... Mammoth this morning... Topaz Lake this afternoon...Tahoe tomorrow morning!  |

( - remember, most of us are OLD! and besides, it's grace that jinxed the thread, not ANY picture of Apolo!) Off topic. hey everyone, Lily and Sam are on their way from Bishop to Topaz Lake. It's snowing like mad right now up here in Tahoe and Lily and Sam have a couple of treacherous mountain passes to drive through if there is weather. So keep them in your thoughts and prayers that the storm hasn't moved south yet and it will be clear sailing for them. (We're going to try and meet up for lunch tomorrow- keep your fingers crossed)  Safe Journeys everyone. |

Be careful, Lily & Sam! I really hope y'all get together, Mtnme. I still had my one and only 'pictures' post because I had constructed it in a separate Word document, so here it is again... I have some other pics that were never posted, but they need enhancement work... 'later' for those! --------------------------------------- One of these cars is NOT the same... Friday morning. Was MY car the only one that it snowed on???. Thank God for Lily and Sam (who drove us to the Oval that day when I wimped out).  Enthusiasmus Monumentus... Jimmy Jang coaching during time trials... I overheard a skater sitting behind me say that one time he actually fell onto the track...  'Ever wonder where those great shots come from?... Susie (foreground) and Lily (in her 'corner')  Ouch!... Katherine after her Sunday crash in warmups - you can tell she was hurting...  No, this isn't what it looks like... Katherine's getting 'work' done by Coach Jimmy after her crash. He must have had 'Magic Fingers', 'cause she kicked a$$ all day long!  "Hmmm, I believe there's a ticket there for me..." Oops, he must've forgotten to put my name down... :/ This photo op was too unique to pass up. Besides, the hard-working guy behind the counter needed a good laugh. (Guy behind counter: 'Hey, Apolo, you won't believe this, but some lady took a picture of your TICKETS'... Apolo: 'well, it couldn't be Lori, 'cause she can't ever get a camera to work...')  |

I never get tired of looking at the pictures, blurry or not. It just reminds me of the wonderful experience you gals had in SLC. And, I appreciate your willingness to share with the rest of us.

Katherine is Awesome...Allison needs to sit her ass down or retire cause Katherine Reuter is unstoppable!!!You Go Girl!!!! Little miss "Hit & Run", Your ignorance knows no bounds. Allison placing as well as she did in SLC was nothing short of pure guts, drive, willpower and professionalism and a testament to what an incredible athlete she is. We sat in front of John, both Apolo's and Allison's trainer, and he was so proud of how well she did considering what she has gone through this year. Plagued with injuries and heart issues, she only had a month of training before nationals and fought for every race and really 'stepped up'. Katherine IS truly amazing, and I hope she continues to skate well - as I wish the same for Allison. You Go Girls! We'll be there rooting for you at WC 6 |
