I am watching the celebrity lists for the Derby and hope to see Apolo's name. There are several parties on derby Eve and Muhammad Ali is having a big deal on Derby night. I see Bode Miller will be at the Barnstable Brown Party.,,,,OK. A lot of NFL stars, NBA, Serena Williams,,,,but mostly actors. I will keep my fingers crossed although I think that at this point all of the Gala's are sold out to the public ~ that's never stopped me before!

You're in Chemistry? I'm taking that next year. Cuz my teachers (math and bio teachers) have said that it's better if i take Algebra 2 before or while i take Chemistry. Are you a Chemistry person??

Another article I got in my "Google Alerts" about what Apolo is going to be doing tomorrow. How I love my Google alerts! ;D
****************************************************
Utah Students Will Be Tutored by Olympic Athletes April 25th, 2006 @ 6:58am (KSL News) Some Utah eighth graders will receive tutoring via the Internet from Olympic gold medalists and professional athletes.
Olympic speed skater Apollo Anton Ohno, joined by basketball player Lisa Leslie and soccer legend Mia Hamm, will help students with math homework tomorrow.
It's all a part of the "Hippest Homework Happening"-- a nationwide effort to help students struggling in math and science.
Several schools in Utah will participate, including Salt Lake area schools and Gunnison Valley and Payson Middle Schools.

They should have the sports stars help in some of these urban areas, especially the inner cities. Alot of inner-cities school children are struggling in math and science. That would had been a little bit more productive. And would encourage the students regarding math and computer science as well. But then again, some of these schools don't even have the best computer equipment either. Not all of them but some don't. That's so sad
