Am I the only one who sees some resemblence between Emperror Meiji and Apolo with his pout on? (I'ld be grateful for anyone who could find any of those pouty pics I'm thinking of just so I can compare.)  |

Yeah, but that is a pout with a repressed grin. We need a pout with a game face. I know there are at least three in the archives somewhere. <snicker> for a minute, I forgot this was a hairdresser picture and thought it looked like the woman was picking nits or something. |

i c the soulpatch and little stash on meiji hh...did you know that the bandana apolo wears is also from his japanese heritage...wiki or google the word 'hachimaki' |

 This one also reminds me of a little of the ol' Meiji. You can really see the Japanese in him when you compare. Although Meiji looks serious, he also looks evil, like he could pierce you clean through with his eyes and it'd be nothing to him. He also looks really, really little. Probably Yuki sized, but skinnier. In a fair fight, my money's on Apolo (just don't look him in the eyes!!). *giggle* Hey there, MT!!!  |

Oh you guys are all so on the right track. Bella, you almost found the pose. Sara, yours is almost spot on. I wonder if there are any pics when he has the moustace thing going on, the pout AND the angry eyebrows?
I think we've stripped old Emperor Meiji of his dignity and stuffiness a bit, don't you?
There is something about a series of pouting Apolo pics that just makes me giggle.
I bet he'd HATE that.
