What's weird Elle, is that the water is not as clear as I'd imagined. I suppose I was thinking of the islands off the southeast coast.

I agree Tabbi! The beauty of the island gets lost behind the beauty of the boy. His legs got a wonderful tan. Hope he remembered his sunscreen. Oh, and he totally got that cute scowl from his dad. Yuki can look fierce when he wants to.

First time in my life I've ever actually wanted to BE a surfboard! I'm so glad he had a nice time. He denied himself so much in preparation for the games, and now totally deserves to have fun. I guess he never quite stood up on the board or someone would have snapped a picture of it. Nevermind Apolo. The waves aren't going anywhere. You can try again sometime... perhaps in L.A.! LOL on being the surfboard, August. I know that Apolo was happy with his strength to weight ratio this past season, but there were some photos where he looked a little too thin to me. He deserves to relax and enjoy himself now. I think that all three of the guys look really good. Kimo said on OZ that Apolo stood up the first day (I think even on the first ride.) My guess is that Kimo was too busy coaching Apolo to get the shot. I'm happy that he got as many shots as he did. They're all beautiful. Do you guys really think that Apolo's scowling in that one shot? I thought he was just looking at the camera. |

You can see the matching trunks in the shots where he's waxing the board. He's wearing board shorts here. He may have the wetsuit on underneath...I can't really tell.
Apolo's legs look so muscular in these photos. His back and arms look beautiful in this shot. It makes me want to jump on his board and ask him to take me for a ride. I know he's nowhere near ready for that, but I can enjoy the fantasy.
