Hi all, I posted a few times but didn't realize that there was a thread for introductions. I'm from Toronto and was initially a fan of the Canadian skaters, then I was told to check out this website and quickly became a fan of Apolo. I'm still a fan of the Canadians but I also now appreciate your talented American skaters and I like the fact that this website has info an several skaters and is always kept up to date. I won't be able to post alot because I have a baby but I will check in as often as I can. Cheers everyone! Hey Newbie, we love your Canadians Too!!!  haven't seen much in the way of websites for them though. How tough it must be to be a fan, when ya can't find a fansite to go to? I wanted to read up on them, and the Canadian speedskating site didn't even MENTION who thier skaters are. No Pics, no nothing!. Is it supposed to be just common knowledge, or are they keeping them a secret?   Anyway, welcome aboard! There are several Canadians here, a few London Girls, and we will be sure to keep all of you up to date at the next world cup with pics and posts. |

We know there are lots of lurkers out there, and we are so grateful that you signed up to help this wonderful cause. The word is finally starting to spread about our little endeavor, and we so hope everyone will open their hearts (and let's be honest, thier wallets) to our Wonderful American ST Athletes. Our hope is that all of us together, CAN make a difference! |
