I just want to official welcome anyone I may have missed in my intermittent absence! Welcome, luvthatman and Casper--hope you both are already having fun here. Casper, I haven't read the article you wrote that you're referring to, since I've been gone lately, but I'm very intrigued and want to. I'm sure I'll find it eventually sifting my way through what I've missed (anyone want to help a sista out and give me a thread link?  ) |

Hi all!! Delurking to introduce myself...... I'm Whitney, in Virginia, and I first noticed Apolo on DWTS. His obvious determination to succeed on the show led me to check him out......and I am super impressed with his skating as well!! I love athletes (former athletic trainer) and his work ethic concerning his sport totally drew me in. I can't wait to learn more about speed skating; hopefully this site will be helpful. And I just think Apolo is awesome . Look forward to getting to know you all!! |

Welcome, Whitney!! It's good to have you on the board. We're not all short track experts, though we do have a few among us, but we'll all enjoy learning more about it with you! I agree with you totally on his work ethic--it's always so encouraging to find people that dedicated to something.

as a former athletic trainer his work ethic must amaze you...

Hi! I am new to this board. I started out on OZ, but decided to come on here as well. I have liked Apolo since the 2002 Olympics. It is nice to see so many other Apolo fans.

Hi Lori! No I didn't go to the Am Cup. I guess you can call me a chicken. I have never been big on going to things by myself. But I hoping to learn more about speedskating through these boards and maybe next time I won't be so scared to go by myself.
