Ruffian, elle, well put! Who else am I forgeting? Majestic... I guess her and Jay would get into an Apolo's clavicle picture posting showdown and Nerka would start a contest to see who could create the best graphic using pictures of Apolo's clavicle. Then she'd create her own graphic showing Apolo's clavicle... pierced with a diamond stud. And just to please Ruffian, she'd have the entire Canadian short track team skating along the enlarged shot of Apolo's now pierced clavicle. Somebody, Stop me!  |

Okay.  This photo is sort of a Clavicle Hunt (like an Easter Egg Hunt, only when you find what you're looking for, it isn't some lameass Easter Egg. It's way better.). Gah. Only have a clavicle in this one (Two of them have found ways to be shirtless and not show clavicle, a la Jeannie and her bellybutton. Clever.).  Prudey McPrudersons. Oh my, all our predictions are coming to fruition. The toe thread has become the clavicle thread, the confusion between clavicle and cervical has begun, and, holy smokes, I left out elle! Well, we all know what she would say, 'cause she already said it (good one my little brit princess). Guess I better get to work on my clavicle soliquy... By the way - Clavicle: In human anatomy, the clavicle or collar bone is a bone that makes up part of the shoulder girdle (pectoral girdle). It is a doubly-curved long bone (the only horizontal long bone in the body) that connects the arm (upper limb) to the body (trunk), located directly above the first rib. Hey, stop, bella. I'm the one who is s'posed to come up with the boring definition and word origin and then redeem myself with some sexual reference. Well, you left the last part to me. I better start working on it..... I can probably work with the assertion that the clavicle is "the only horizontal long bone in the body" .... maybe in some guys but, I believe there is pictoral evidence to the contrary for Apolo (and Rusty). I gotta say the "double-curve" gives me some pause. Very interesting. |

Geeze I didn't think commenting on his clavicle would bring this much discussion but it's all good. I'm trying to remember who it was on the OZ in the beginning who said they would love to kiss the inside of Apolo's wrists. To feel the little pulses in his veins on your lips.....
