Can't tell squat about the shoes except he looks like he has teeny feet. Allison sure did crank up the "I'm too sexy for my skin suit" look. Crikey, when did she get boobs? Or has she been hiding them whereever the Canooks hide their tender bits when skating? (And just where is that anyway? I'll send Ruff to do an inventory.)
The caption "Anthony Lobello goofs off with a mop and the women's restroom" was painful to comtemplate.

Okay, remember Allison's recent "glam" shot? Well here's Apolo's glam shot! j/k I found this photo on a Flickr account. It was posted last January. The caption reads: "I actually got to meet him! My sister had a gymnastics meet at the Olympic Oval where he trains!!" Nice, eh? We should send this kid to the Oval with his camera every week. He's definitely got some skills. Here's another:

MT, nice to see you popping in from time to time lately. You have been missed. Susie, I am completely loving that you have the summer off and have time to find all these wondeful tidbits. ;D You're like a one woman roving reporter! LOL

Right now I'm at my brother's waterfront home, and trust me, I know I've got it good. I'm really excited because the kid that took these pics is using the same camera and lens that I just got! (A Nikon D40.) The racing pic was taken at a speed of 1/100th with an aperture of f5.6 using a 200mm lens and shutter priority. (Thanks to my lovely, patient brother, all of that actually means something to me now!) Hmm, how to lighten that up?... I am determined to get some decent shots in October!

Loverly pics.
It wouldn't surprise me at all if Apolo is wearing those shoes because:
a) they are probably super comfortable b) he spent an ungodly sum on them and he's d**n well going to get his money's worth c) they're the one little bit of understated Hollywood Glam he allows himself; just enough to be cool and different without going overboard
It reminds me a little of Cinderella with her glass slipper from the ball.
And that pic of Allison looks completely different. Not just her outfit, but her face and everything about her is almost unrecognizable. Va va va voom!

And if you send the Ruffster to do an inventory, we'll never see the next generation of Canookians who'll carry on the tradition.

It's amazing what a skin suit can minimize, eh? Yet somehow, Apolo never seems "minimized" by his skinsuit!

That is exciting news and we are sure hoping that you get a lot of decent shots! I love the racing pic that the kid too with the reflections on the ice. That is just a fantastic photo! Of course the photo of Apolo is great. He makes the trash can look good in the background.

Susie - I'll bet you'll get fantastic pics with your new camera! Also, you can lighten pics with photo software... I use Photoshop Elements' *fill-flash* sometimes.

It's been so quiet with 'anything Apolo', so I thought I'd post this pic here (it hasn't been posted before). It's from Dec. Nationals... I never tire of seeing apolo 'leading the pack'!!!

LOL Lily!, At first I thought you were just 'holdin' out' on us, ...but now I see your plan! You were just saving a few tasty morsels for these long, drought ridden, Apolo-less days to tide us over, so all of us don't have a full on, mega-withdrawal, meltdown.

Mtnme - you 'hit the nail on the head'...LOL..!! That was my intent, but the summer is clicking away faster than I thought it would... and I'm trying to search for pics that would be 'different'! I hope I can come up with some that are...
