I had a five dollar bet on Barbero, (I think I mentioned it somewhere on this board Thursday night)
Also, a little trivia for you all. Barbero's trainer is an Olympian himself, won the silver in show jumping in the 1996. His name is Michael Matz. They also showed how he survived that horrendous plane crash in 1989 (the same year, coincidentally enough that my beloved Sunday Silence won his Kentucky Derby)

I did not see Apolo, but I caught a glimps of Bode Miller on ESPN. One of the other trainers, Bob Baffert, is good friends with Bode, and named his son after the skiier.
However, in my county paper, The Palm Beach post, May 5,06 in the sports section, it mentioned that Bob Baffert quoted as saying that sometimes his friends ask if it's too late to change his son's name to Apolo.

Shelby, to answer your question, yes. I believe they are the same.

is this "guest" someone who know's Apolo? Wouldn't it be hilarious if guest was Apolo the whole time. It wouldn't be too farfetched, though, seeing that this is the best forum around.

Did anyone else catch Apolo on ESPN2? He looked great, and his jacket was dark.
And GO BARBERO!
IMO, a Triple Crown is not out of the question.
Hey, MT, do I know you?
