I read that the tickets for that gala were $1,200 a piece. She probably was going for a glamorous and dramatic look with the black strapless dress, high heels, sparkly jewelery and up do, so she went with dramatic makeup, too, glossy lips and dark shadow. Her instincts were right. But she is young and attractive and she has great skin. I think she just didn't need the extra-dark makeup. Your makeup should enhance your beauty, not hide it.
It could also be the light in the photo contributing a little??? Not sure.
Anyways, I also like seeing them together. And I think it takes quite a woman to dress all up like that and have to stand off in the background and wait while the spotlight is all on your boyfriend, who probably spent all of 15 minutes on his look for the night.

Bella....yup that's true. And i think that makeup should look "natural". But I love Allison's black strapless dress...i think you can pull off a great look with a cute black dress. Then...kinda ruined the whole look with the makeup part. I think this is like the first time i saw her in an event out of ST or ST related..soo...
AND bot OH boy!!! EEEE!!!! APolo looks sooo friggin HOTTT in that white jacket!! I've said before that he looks really good in dark colors...but WHITe, i think lotsa people can pull off a white ensemble!!! AND APOLO is sooooo...very GORgeOUS!!! I just wish there'll be more pics!!

And Apolo in white is like an angel...
I just wish he was really smiling. If I was Allison, I'd have given him a little goose so he'd smile and show some teeth!

I've seen Apolo show more affection towards his fans. He doesn't even have his arm around her or anything. In pics i've seen of him and his fans he has his arm around him and a big smile on his face. I don't know he just looks like he could be more comfortable. Just my opinion not trying to start anything.

Ree--Well i think we just can't see his arm around her....(need a bckside image!Hee)...and APolo is a very private person, so i guess he doesn't want it a really really big deal. You know "fly under the radar"...but i would like to see him a lil' bit more affectionate. But i don't mind....he can do what eve he wants....i just wanna see him happy.

To heck with his shoes, I'm lovin hers. She also has great arms and the eye makeup well, going too much for that siamese cat look but the lipstick/gloss was just right. My husband has gorgeous eyes and hair and I know, when we get dolled up, I have the same instincts (except for the eyeshadow) I throw on a skirt so short, I have to shave (if ya know what I mean) and I risk life an limb in a pair of FMPs
