Does anyone else wonder why this event was formally announced? Why was he in NY? Just to see this? And why announce it since he was neither associated with the event or there to meet and greet fans. I mean, on his site, they never announce "Apolo to see X-men next week" or stuff like that. Was this posted as a cover for if/when people noticed he was in NY and wondered why?

I don't think the play was on the OZ banned "personal" list since it was announced on his personal site, wasn't it? And like I said, WHY? I don't know about the Nikkei event. If OZ considers that private/personal, that is really wacked. I guess we'll find out tonight or is it tomorrow? If OZ posts it, then, Noelle and/or his charming self considered it "public" It doesn't make any sesnse to me. But then, I freely admit I draw the line in a different place than a lot of people. If you really feel a need to talk about my or my husbands eye-makeup, well, go for it. Heck, if my husband ever wears any, I'LL feel the need to talk about it.

No you guys are getting this confused.
The whole personal issue that Apolo wanted taken off Oz was the Derby Event.
Everthing else is fair game. The only reason why he probably wanted the Derby event taken down was because he was taking Alison and then people would be talking about his "personal" life, on that website, so he asked to remove it.
It has nothing to do with the personal vs. private blah, blah, blah. Those were just words thrown out there to throw people off. It's not too complicated.

I agree with Crimson on this one, although I'm not going to worry about the particulars. It taxes my poor brain a little too much, lol.
I'm thinking that the tickets to the premiere were a thank-you gift from "Fox and Friends" for his appearance on the show...but who knows, really.

Are you guessing on this or did you get better info? I hadn't thought it was a one-off request or even a just because of Allison request. Noelle said she would not post "anything" personal from now on (per request). My confusion is what is "personal" - speculation about girlfriends and events he doesn't want to be bothered at, among other things only to be discovered by sticking one's foot, firmly in one's mouth, apparently. Either way, I don't think the play qualified as a banned topic since it was posted on his websited. But, why was it posted on his website? Is he planning on acting on Broadway? Does he have a friend in the show? He wants to seem more well-rounded and cultured? |
