great news finally, well at least....i would love to watch Apolo skate in person but that won't happen....but i hope i could get all the vids of Apolo skating and post them here....i really need Christy for that purpose

well i know that you can rip off any videos' URL so maybe if i found vids of Apolo that i couldn't upload, i would turn to you

So, did you ever found out what Allison was up to? Have you heard anything about Apolo? andrew - Allison is training at the OTC. Her training has been slowed by her injury from the Olympics. Not sure if she will compete this season or not. Same goes for Halie. Apolo is training too and from what I've heard from others is that he may try and make the Worlds team in Feb. That's what I've heard and does not mean it's a fact but since he is training again it makes sense. Cheers. Sounds great. About time if you ask me. |

If he does decide to try for Worlds make sure you try and get to Cleveland for Nationals then so you can see him skate in person. Thanks for the info, Averie. I was wondering if Nationals/Worlds would be the scenario for Apolo. Nationals comes about two weeks after my birthday, so I think if things work out I will give myself an extra special present this year. |

I love it, Elle. I've seen it before, but not that big.
That's about as demonstrative as he gets in public. I came across the Valentine's Day article that appeared during the Olympics where a reporter asked Allison if Apolo was romantic. Allison said that she didn't think he would want her to talk about it, but that he was very romantic.
I was frankly sort of surprised at the time to see a picture with his arm around her just because he does like to keep his private life private, but maybe he was just so happy about his medals that he didn't care!

I know I've said this before here but I'll repeat that I feel bad that Apolo would be overly concerned about such things, if he is. I mean, my goodness, he puts his arm around lots of other people, so it's very nice to see this pic. I remember reading the article you mentioned, too, and had some thoughts as to why Allison might have answered the way she did (other than Apolo being private). I just found some sweet pics of them that were taken in '04 at a competition but the links have suddenly changed. Other Apolo pics are in their place now at the site. I wanted to post them here. Let me see if I can find them again... |
