Yeah, I think that Apolo said that he and Shani became friends because they had so much in common compared to the other skaters and that is when there bond first began. Exactly, it has nothing to do with their race. They both liked hip hop and just had more in common with each other. |

I don't think they are opposites i think they are friends cuz they have so much in common. i mean they're opposites physically.....shani is tall and apolo is not-so tall and that makes them look 'goofy'....but i wouldn't say that they shouldn't be friends.....i think they're sweet guys with simple lives going on |
