That's interesting. I thought he had beautiful teeth his entire life. LOL. Braces always do the trick. I used 2 have them.

I suppose you could say that he was chunky compared to some of the other skaters, but I think by most people's standards he was never "fat". I still haven't seen a picture of him where he really looked "chunky" to me, I think it's just depends on your perspective.

Oh my goodness! I didn't recognize Apolo at first. And yes, Tabbi, that's Fabio Carta...he looks much younger as well. I notice that Fabio has on the red helmet cover of the overall leader. As for "chunky" -- that was also my brother's nickname when he was a kid. My brother grew up to be quite handsome -- as did Apolo.  |

my brother was scrawny, but grew into himself, slightly larger, and looks sooo much better. it's all in the eye of the beholder.
thought that was him on the left.
