Actually, I can't remember where I found the picture with the elderly woman, but I thought it was so sweet. He's so respectful and caring. That is the kind of thing I like best about him..yes, he is an amazing skater...yes, he is great looking...but his heart, his kindness, his respect for others, his determination...that is what makes me a fan. |

That one is really heartwarming. I love to see Apolo with his fans... He just seems so genuine and caring. i think thats his grandma  hes soooooo sweet |

He's mocking up the race in his mind, exactly how he wants it to go, and in a moment, when the gun goes off, he'll manifest his vision, his mock up, in the real world and win the race... Or he could be thinkin' "Should I have had that extra hard boiled egg for breakfast?". hahahaha |

He is focusing on the race and ya know......doing his yawns....mouth excercises, warming up his legs. I think every skater has that look before a race. But, Apolo is just sooo.......
I can't find the word!!!LOL...but he's in his lil' world....fading out th rest of the world except the ice!!LOL

He's creating his own reality. We all have the ability to do this, we just forget or get sidetracked along the way, or give up because it is too hard, or we let our fears get the better of us. That's the thing about Apolo that inspires me the most - his ability to will his thoughts, his mental images, into beingness. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or bored or annoyed or lazy or sad anything that's preventing me from making cool things happen in my life, I think of Apolo and how he overcomes the odds, shatters the barriers, and just makes cool things happen. Sorry such a long post... Just wanted to put that out there. |
