I have no idea if this thread was made already. If it was, I couldn't find it. Anyways, here is a thread where you can express your work. It could be certain drawings, paintings, poems, stories from a book you made, ahh photos you taken and whatever else I'm forgeting. I love to see some of your work. Here is a picture I drew of John Lennon. I forgot to shade his face. I posted this pic on a another website I have an account on also. I probably showed you girls this picture of Paul McCartney already, but I'm in love with my drawing.

The Lennon and McCartney drawings are beautiful. I draw too but the only faces I can do are the fuzzy kind (cats, dogs, rabbits etc). You have quite a talent. Sending you some karma!!

Those are amazing, Rach! Portraits are SO difficult. I used to draw a lot - lost interest, though. I drew mostly horses, so here's one I dug up... It's the racehorse Seabiscuit (done LONG before the movie came out - it was from a book I read as a kid)

Jenna, the first pic is my favorite. Old houses look so sad, and almost like they have a story to tell. Lori, I love horses, and I love the pic that you drew. Very good. Rach, wow. You got their eyes down so wonderfully. The only thing I can draw good is the St. Louis Cardinals logo. The bat/bird and letters. I'm more of a writer!

Hey Rach there are four or five different threads that deal with drawings, photography and poetry. I think you started one for drawings, and one for photography because I have seen your drawings of John and Paul. Both are fantastic, but I already told ya that. I like that it's all now under one thread instead of the four or five on the site. I posted my poems in the poetry thread, so should I repost them here? Lori, your drawing of Seabiscuit is fabulous. ;D You're very talented. Jenna, your pictures are great. ;D I like the beach picture.

Hey Tabs, you should repost your poem-"Proud Warrior Man".
Rach, I copied and pasted what I wrote in the poetry thread, so you can read them. FYI, they are written in Spanish, but I translated them into English so everyone that read them could understand them.
Okay here's a poem that I wrote while listening to one of my friends go on and on about her heart being broken, and she didn't want to feel sad anymore. It's in Spanish, but I provided the translation.
La Tormenta
Relámpagos iluminan el cielo y gotas grandes empapan la piel. Se cierran las ventanas del alma y se escucha un gran silencio. La tormenta está pasando y mañana brillara el sol. Finalmente llega la calma a este pobre corazón.
The Storm
Lightning iluminates the sky, and giant drops wet the skin. The windows of the soul are closing, and a great silence is heard. The storm is passing, and tomorrow the sun will shine. Calmness finally comes to this poor heart.
Here is another one that I wrote on the same day because my friend was going on and on about this. I stayed on the phone with her for about two hours, so I wrote poems while I listened to her complaints. Again, I provided the translation.
Corazón Quebrado
Este corazón quebrado llora por tu amor. Este corazón quebrado sufre por tanto dolor. Este corazón quebrado tiene ya que sanar. Este corazón quebrado un día volverá a amar
Broken Heart
This broken heart cries for your love. This broken heart suffers from so much pain. This broken heart needs to heal now. This broken heart will one day love again. These two were published in Al Principio:poesía y prosa in 1999 by Texas State University. One of them is a one sentence poem that is connected to the title.
La Fe Eres mi fe, mi corazón, Diste vida a mi ser. Me diste amor y cordura. Eres mi dios.
Faith You are my faith, my heart, You gave life to my soul. You gave me love and wisdom. You are my God.
El abuelo Humilde moreno de pocas palabras.
The grandfather Humble, dark haired/skinned one of few words.
