Hi guys,
My boyfriend fell yesterday afternoon in a serious bicycle accident in which he flew off a platform four of five feet off the ground and landed straight on his head (without a helmet on) and is pretty banged up. His eyebrow got displaced and he has lacerations, abrasions, and open skin wounds all over his face, neck, collarbone, and arms. He had some memory loss yesterday afternoon, but it seems to be coming back now. We were in the hospital until 1 a.m. or so, but he's been able to sleep now. He's in pretty bad shape at the moment and is in a lot of pain, so I probably won't be on the forums much for the next few days. I think he'll be fine eventually, but he just needs some time to heal and recuperate. I'm hoping Rose and Nerka will be around for some of the time, but just be nice while I'm gone and keep him in your prayers! I just wanted to let everyone know.

Oh, Lindsey, I am so, so sorry. He will definitely be in my prayers and so will you. I know, from personal experience, how hard it is to see someone you love suffer. Please keep us posted as you have time. I'm hoping Rose and Nerka will be around for some of the time, but just be nice while I'm gone and keep him in your prayers! I just wanted to let everyone know. Lindsey I'll plan on popping in as often as possible but I am sure everyone will be very nice.  Right, Everyone? ;D |

Good grief Lindsey, your boyfriend sure know's how to do a number on himself! It sounds like he's a strong fellow, so will probably be back on his bike in no time, till then, we'll be waiting for updates on his recovery.

How awful! We will all be thinking and praying for him and you and his family during this difficult time. Please keep us updated on his progress.
