I read an article once that Ahn didn't know how to speak English but that he would really like to learn. It said that he would really enjoy having a conversation with Apolo. It sucks that the media has to take their competitive nature and turn it into rivalry and animosity towards each others countries. Like Apolo said he wouldn't be as good as he is today if it weren't for the Koreans and that the Koreans wouldn't be as good as they are without him.

I agree babyRocker, the media makes a big deal about the whole Apolo and Ahn rivalry. It's just crazy. I mean they are human and at the end of the day, they're cool about it. I mean i don't think that they carry the competition other than inside the ice rink.
OK...could you guys imagine if AHn and APolo was fightin? LOL! They wouldn't understand a thing that they're saying!!LOL....Oh my...got carried away!

ya i really hate wut the media does like with the hole Shani and davis thing that was ridiculous, it frustraights me how much people need to see somethign going wrong to be interested

Yes i hate that also, i mean the media didn't focus on the fact that he made history
Instead they focused on the "feud" between them......it just sux!!! he deserves more..

Lindsey...one more thing. I forgot to post a couple of little pictures that went with the article....besides the big pic that you have. The first pic is a montage from the 1,500 final from the 2002 Olympics and the second is a pic of Apolo and his roommate playing video games. Apolo does have that effect. I have jogged at least 2 miles every day since I met Apolo at the Roots store last month. He inspired me to be more athletic.

Yeah read about it on the I Met Apolo board  Yes, he looks fit. However, you know I was thinking, maybe it's good that he doesn't have super big muscles up top, because he looks more even. Maybe jsut bigger muscles in his arms. |

Hes roommate looks cute lol i wonder if they're good friends, i bet they are the live together, and i wonder how many apolo has had some one should find that out
