hey, i'm off to the border (NV) tonight for a short jaunt  .
will be back sunday evening to avoid monday's holiday traffic mess.
my girls have volunteered to watch grandma this weekend **yay**

I'm off to Aruba for a week. Don't know what I'll do without my dogs and my GA friends!! Guess I'll have to drown my sorrows in coconut rum and pineapple juice. (and I'm sure I'll be plenty sorrowful)
Take care of Apolo while I'm gone and I'llsee you guys next weekend. Have a safe and fun filled holiday.

Hi, y'all, I'm leaving tomorrow AM for an adventure with my Salt Lake City brother. He called me a week ago and said he wanted to drive up the CA coast - camping, roughing it, no agenda, no time frame. He's a great scenic photographer, and I've always wanted to go backpacking with him in the Utah wildlands, but I guess California will have to suffice. If time allows, we'll return home via the Eastern Sierras (Mtnme, I'm bringing your # in case we end up in your neck of the woods  The car is packed, and the maps and alarm clocks have been ditched. When will I be back? I guess when I call hubby and he starts getting grumpy (he can't join us 'cause of his baseball coaching  ). I'll miss y'all, but I'll check in if and when I can (even if only to read!) 'Just hopin' I can find a TV to watch the Belmont Stakes on Saturday! Ciao!  |
