Yeah, he's a big fan favorite with Buffalo, but my heart belongs to Maxim Afinogenov, Totally dark sided male, secretive, nice, yet nasty.moody and broody, can laugh but seldom does. If he scores a goal, he skates around the rink with his stick held high. Gotta love him.

Hmm, a Russian born player. Man, what's with those Russians anyway? They are a moody bunch... I used to like Pavel Bure, kinda miss him. I like watching E. Malkin of The Pens, sorry, I know you're a Sabres fan, but he's a good player. Your team is only 3 points off from mine, even tho your's is in the east, mine in the west...

Nothing like that outdoor game, the Winter Classic. I wanted the Sabres to win, but oddly, it didn't bother me that they didn't. Yes, Max is very moody. And he's been here for years, and he's been seen around town, but not nearly as much as the other players. How is this for karma. I won an autographed hockey jersey signed by Max in November. And when approached to fill out the entry form, I already had his jersey on. But, the guy said "take a chance" so, I did and won it. Now, when I'm around the city in it, everyone asks me how I got the elusive Max to sign it...................lol.

I'd never be that lucky to win anything of the sort. But I'm glad that you did. I've been lucky to get some blues players autographs. But they either left for free agency, or been traded. I always found it funny that I stayed clear of Jamal Mayers, my all time favorite blue, and the only original one left. Guess I didn't want to jinx him...he is after all still with us.

The great thing about the Sabres are they are a city team. They make themselves very accessible to the fans. I met Ryan Miller last year before Christmas at a local restaurant, Brian Campbell, had my pic taken with them and others. If you are just polite, they will sign and pose with you. Not many have bad attitudes or are stuck up. On the other hand, the fans in Buffalo embrace their teams and are always sold out, we support the charities. We were in line to be rated the #1 Hockey town but lost to Minnesota.

Am I nuts or does Paula Abdul have her own reality TV show? I recently sat through a few episodes of something the other day and I'm now totally convinced the woman is a basket case. I've always given her the benefit of the doubt and thought people were too hard on her about her crazy ways, but after seeing her show, I truly do think she is a few fries short of a Happy Meal.

I've been hearing the same thing...man. I'm watching the x games. michal handzus was one of the sweetest guys. no longer a blue tho. but he was kind and shy. the team has been sorta busy this year. i would go, but i'm not used to the big cities, and w/ the I-64 shut down...i'm not going to fight it this year.

She is definitely eccentric. Attention or illegal attention............I don't know why she acts like she does.........but, yeah, I agree, she's strange. I do think she was drunk many, many episodes of American Idol the past two years.

Thank you both for validating that. Good Lord in Heaven - the girl needs help. She was crying...no....make that slobbering every 5 minutes. Her words were constantly slurred and she just appeared completely unstable and often times, incoherant. Of course, it was mentioned every other 5 minutes that her schedule was crazy and she was 'exhausted', but I don't buy it.
She also struck me as very moody with her staff and very disinqenuous with her fans. On top of that, I couldn't get over how into herself she was. Her whole day, and everyone inolved in it, centred around her looking good.

I think she is still pretty, but showing signs of aging that we all show. And while most of us can accept it, she will have a very hard time. Also, I hear she's stressed about performing at the Superbowl next week, so maybe that's why she's a mess. She kind of reminds me of Anna Nicole Smith, not the looks of course, but the personality.

I can't wait until the writer's strike is over so I can get me some new eps of Reaper, Scrubs and My Name is Earl. I'm DYING here and am NOT a huge reality show fan.
