Don't you think this is out of hand, Bella? How there'll just be pages and pages of garbage posts? It's annoying and I've heard at least 4 other posters say it's annoying (speaking of which, thank you Apolosangel, I appreciate your support). If I didn't say anything, they would never stop.

And it's not like I'm asking them to stop talking about certain things they want to talk about. I'm asking they stop spamming the board. I've asked a couple of times, now.

Yes, the guidelines do say that there's a 10 word post limit and that we should all try to stay on topic as much as possible. You are absolutely right about that one.

I do think there is a misunderstanding that isn't cleared up yet, Bella. There is no objection to number of posts or volume, per se (or I'm in big trouble and way over my quota). No one wants fans to go away (Ruffian WAS being surly and I'm throwing rose bushes at her "thrones" and all). THE POINT IS CONTENT NOT VOLUME or even topic.

Punctuating every thread repeatedly with a brief and inane burp of nothing so that the "last 10" is an agony to read is bad form. Just as bad is burying a convo in a thread with page after page of "I get you" "LOL" "Hee, hee" It utterly kills the conversation - just plain murder.

If several people have said what you are wanting to say, think up some new content, keep it to yourself or PM your agreement to whomever you want to babble at, or Karma them with your apprecaition.

I'm rotten about staying OT, so, of course I don't think that is the problem. After all, a post of "Yup, yup" IS on topic. If we enforce an OT rule can I not mention the lovely symmetry of Apolo's nostrils that was inspired by a photo posted in the eyes section? Do I have to start a new thread to do it?

Maybe we should start a new thread for "Spam" and then when someone just really, really wants to have round robins of "LOL, I get you" they can do it there? Afterall, Ruffian started her own thread for the Canooks so that anyone who is blind and doesn't get the attraction doesn't need to be subjected to their loveliness. I thought that was quite appreciative of other's afflictions and down right courteous.

So, I hope I haven't offended anyone or chased anyone away. If I have, I WILL consider them AWOL, which, BTW is a crime as it specifically indicates away without permission and implies running away and cowardice or foolishness. I think we should all "stink" up for each other and work thru this. When the spam bridgade posts thoughtful comments, I have enjoyed their fresh point of view and, I lust after the Canadians and Apolo with a tail, and Bellas poetry (esp when she is wicked) and Laura v guest is always an adventure.

PS Ruffian, find a Canook and sit on his hands. It will be ever so much more fun.

Yeah me I get outta hand with some of these post, but i don't mean to. I mean Ruffian could say it a little nicer..... I try 2 be as nice as possable 2 u guys, and i am, some of u guys r really nice. If i had a problem I wouldn't have said it in that certain way..
Ruffian I would have listened 2 u right away if u asked me nicer...and that's way im mad cause u just sad it without thinkin about anyones feeling...just think before say things, could someone could get very offended...
