Well Sintha, if it makes you feel ANY better my dear, my rising ( ascending sign ) is Sagittarius.
My mother was very BIG on astrology when I was growing up ( it was the 60's and 70's after all ) and she had all of the family's charts done.
Then awhile ago, when I was still into Viggo Mortensen of the LOTR movies, a woman on one of the Viggo sites I went to did charts, as well. I gave her all of my vital information to see just how well the person my mom had do mine had done all of those years ago. It was absolutely identical.
If any of you is interested in being able to do your own charts, there are these books you can buy that all you have to do is look the stuff up, you don't have to know all of that complicated math and/or look up all this celestial stuff, it's all there, you just have to "plug in your numbers" so to speak and they are available, the books are, on Amazon.com of all places. Yeah.

So Sintha, I take it that means you are intereted? Well the books are called Astroanalysis and they are put out by the American Astroanalysts Institute. They make one for each and every sign of the Western Zodiac and as I said, are available through Amazon.com for $9.97 a piece and are thick paperbacks. For those that don't shop on-line, I just gave you the title and who writes them. Go to your local bookstore and see if they are available and/or see if they can order one for you in your sign if they are not in stock. I have one for me, my hubby, my daugther and my best friend. I've sent them to friends as gifts, as well. Another extremely interesting book I have is called "The Secret Language of Birthdays" and the authors are Gary Goldschneider and Joost Elffers. What it is about is how the day each and every one of us was born affects our personalities. The 366 personality profiles in the book ( yes, they EVEN account for the "leap years") are based on a combination of astrology, numerology, the tarot and what Gary Goldschneider refers to as his theory of "personology" that proposes that all life is cyclical: people born on the same day occupy the same point in the year's cycle and thus share certain characteristics. It's a THICK book, mine is hardback and if I decided to weild it ( like if someone broke into my house and this book was the only thing I had in reach, I could seriously hurt someone with it...yes!). And I can't remember how much I paid for it. But I'd not be surprised if it's not at Amazon.com, your library or at a local bookstore, either. Can any of you tell my mother rubbed off her interest in the occult onto me? LOL! Hey, I was even born on her 29th birthday, I didn't have no choice in THAT one! |
