New Galleries

Hey guys,
I posted this on the site, but I thought I'd include it here as well. I just started my first Coppermine gallery for Got Apolo. I'm still really new at all this interactive stuff, but I think this is going to work really well. I've got quite a few albums on the site already, with over 600 files, but the great thing about this new gallery is that I believe users can register to add comments and even have their own galleries. So if you guys have photos to contribute that I don't have, please sign up and get your own album! There are also a few albums that can be contributed to on the main page (still trying to figure out how it all works). There's a gallery for graphics, if any of our lovely GFX designers (Nerka, ruffian, etc) want to upload their creations!
Anyways, still getting used to it (and the layout will be improved shortly), but let me know what you guys think!

Nerka and sintha, I manually activated your accounts... I'm not sure why you didn't get the emails... hopefully this won't be a problem in the future.

Bravo Lindsey, it's a beautiful gallery! I just registered and logged in. Email went through fine, so perhaps there was just a temporary glitch earlier. It's very user friendly, and the photos... what can I say? It's Apolo! Stunning. I love it.

how do u create ur own album...i mean how can i get the pics i want into my own albums??

Sintha,

When you log in there should be a user menu that is displayed beneath the regular/main menu.

1. Click on "Create/order my albums"
2.Then click "New" and enter your name or whatever you want to title your album.
3. Then click "Apply Modifications."
4. Then you can upload your picture by clicking "Upload file" on the main menu, and after it is done uploading it will ask you to click continue to add the files into an album.
5. Click "Continue" and then select your album from the drop-down menu on the next page.

I'm pretty sure that's how it's done! I will try to answer any and all questions you guys have about the galleries, but I'm still trying to figure things out myself. Let me know about any more problems (or if my instructions are weird and confusing, lol).
