Apolo, you have really been an inspiration for my 9 year old son. He's outside on his roller blades every afternoon, after he's done his homework, hoping to reach the Olympics one day. He knows it's a BIG dream but it's amazing to see him so passionate about it. We even visit the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs frequently (we live on Peterson AFB) where he becomes even more motivated and excited. Thank You for your graciousness and good moral attitude that my son looks up to. You represent our country well.

AWESOME JOB APOLO!!! you looked like you had a blast out there on the ice in Turino. Us back home were cheering you on!! congrats on the medals! i love how you are so determined to win. You should definitely compete in the 2010 olympics. When you are racing, I always make sure i get to see you because I love watching you and you make the games soooo exciting. i love the tension when im watching....im like GO APOLO GO!!! you have taught me that it doesnt matter what color the medal or what you get is. its how hard you worked, if you tried your best, and had a blast doing it is what really counts and matters!!

You are not only an incredible athlete, but you are also a truly amazing role model. I was inspired by you during the 2002 Olympics, and I have admired you ever since. Congratulations on all that you have achieved, and good luck on all of your future endeavors!

I just want to say that you are a great example of what an athlete should be and a teammate should be, congratulations on your winnings this winter. I will be looking forward to Vancouver, hope you actually compete! Love ya lots and I look up to you as an inspiration, to come back from that fall you had at the beginning of the Torino games to come back and win gold. That was amazing.

Hello, Apolo! Can I please say you're an inspiration to me because of your hard work winning the "Perfect Race"! That's was the BEST ever watching & nobody can take that away from you...NOT even the South Koreans! You totally brought it that night you won Gold & I'm soo proud of your terrific efforts in our Oympics! You have to come back in the next 4 years..PLEASE!!
