Here's a thought to make us all paranoid.... Maybe there IS a 2 hour break until the relay starts, and they start broadcasting the last 2 rounds of the 500 between now and then?

Where did someone read that the relay won't be held for another two hours? Is there a schedule up somewhere? Does anyone have the link if so?

Questions to the experts... ?? Seems like fewer Koreans made the finals of the 500 Is it because it's harder to team skate in such a short, fast race? I know the 500 isn't Apolo's specialty but he has won medals in this distance before hasn't he? I do believe he has an explosive start which would have to be an asset in the 500. Plus, I think he was "..issed off" last night with the Korean Wall and was just incredibly determined tonight..Amazing what he can do when everyone plays fair isn't it? Can't wait to see this race on you tube Am staying up to catch the relay if I can stay awake..maybe we'll get a late broadcast like last night..We can hope Am working in office at the same time...putting ribbons and stickers on seminar graduation certificates... mm MM

But one thing is for sure. If SLC was any indication- (Remember, the zamboni driver's mom knows all......) - Apolo was pissed about last night and never makes the same mistakes twice. I doubt he would let it happen again, not without one hell of a fight.

If that's the case, I think I'm off to bed then. I stayed up 'til 3am this morning watching that disappointing DQ, so I'm tiiiiiired. I think the US has it in the bag for semi's anyway... Korea will make it through and US has to beat out Japan and Italy. I don't see a problem with those two, so I think it is safe to go to sleep now. Here's a bit of luck now that it appears as though I may have jinxed them... OH NO! Night Ladies

They started the 500 preliminaries early tonight, though...so I'm wondering if the relay semi's might start earlier as well.
Nite, Wags!

He has the capacity to compartmentalize things, shut them off when he doesn't need them; and to take the challenge of something and make it his own. We hear him often say how he learns from his mistakes, changes his strategies, dedicates himself to coming back stronger....its the competitive edge that keeps him in the top echelon. I don't know about him being incredible pissed off about last night. I don't see him as allowing himself to dwell on that negative energy. Maybe a few minute after the race, maybe some real disappointment. But that also gave him the extra sprinboard, the extra 'oomph to come back stronger". (Anyone get that quote?)
