How would you compare the "dorm" housing at the OTC in Colorado Springs to owning your own home in SLC?
After the race in December, and if the question is relevant, I would ask:
Are you surprised at the number of fans who have turned out for this race in comparison to races before DWTS? Are you surprised at how many DWTS fans were ST fans before the show and watched simply because you were one of the celebs?
and now for the goofy question--you know the media always throws one in so they can edit the answer at they choose.
May I have your address so I can build a snowman in your front yard during Nationals in December?

You guys are awesome! What great questions! ;D I sure wish I could hear Apolo's answers. You guys had so many good ones... I like the ones about Special Olympics and Habitat for Humanity. Waste management vs. alternative fuel sources. If a stranger has influenced him unbeknownst (is this a word?) to them. How he mentally approaches working out and competing. Why he thinks he's an inspiration to people. Where Yuki gets his inspiration. Etc. etc.!
I'd like to ask Apolo how he describes himself/his personality. People here and at other sites have speculated if he's introverted or extroverted, and where he falls on various personality tests. I'd be interested in what he feels his natural personality is, and how he's had to adjust because of either his chosen profession (speed skating right now) or when he's in the public eye. What interview and/or emcee settings feel more natural to him, and which are more awkward?

That 3rd question sounds fun, Lily! I wish I knew Japanese.. Who are the Moody blues? Jennaceeta... the Moody Blues are a British rock band from the 60's. A few of their most famous songs are: NIGHTS IN WHITE SATIN, TUESDAY AFTERNOON and I'M JUST A SINGER IN A ROCK AND ROLL BAND... and many more I won't list... LOL! This band still tours world-wide and comes to the U.S. for many concerts. There are many of us that attend frequently and we (the fans) have gotten to know each other and have stayed at the same hotels as the band... and have had friendly encounters with them. Lily Cool, Lily! I never knew they were a British rock band. Interesting! ;D ;D

Here are mine:
Apolo: Based thus far on what you have read or watched on TV, do you think a woman like Hilary Clinton is capable of being Presdident of the United States??
Based on Mitch Alboms book "For one more Day"....If you could spend one more day with someone you loved that has passed on, who would it be?

Hi Wildfire. Yes, I did watch Oprah. Great show. I've read his last 3 books and of course I cry like a baby. I would of course want to spend one more day with Julie. So, I thought of who Apolo might want to spend one more day with.

May I have your address so I can build a snowman in your front yard during Nationals in December? That's funny, Gasp! Quite entertaining. When you get his address can ya send it to me? lol. I bet he would enjoy the snowman outside, though.

I'd ask him why he tortures his fans so by staying out of the limelight for such long stretches of time and making us miss him way too much. LOL J/K
I think I'd ask - If he has children someday and they are athletically gifted and one of them is contemplating following in his footsteps in being an Olympic athlete, would he wholeheartedly encourage them in going that same route knowing the extreme sacrifices that must be made, or, would he wish for more of a normal life for them...

I would also ask the the corny question of if he could eat dinner with anyone dead or alive who would it be? Christi, he was asked a similar question once. I think the question was 'if you could have a conversation with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?', and he answered 'Abraham Lincoln and Jesus'. He may have added a third, but I don't remember. I'll look for the article, and if I can find it quick, I'll edit to add his exact answer.. EDIT: I found it! Here it is... Q: If you could host the ultimate dinner party, which three people (dead or living) would you invite and what would you eat?A: “Abraham Lincoln—I just want to talk to him. I’d just like to see what he really says, what his true feelings were. We have what’s on paper and what people wrote about him. So I would like to see from his mouth what he was going through especially to be in a position like that. I would invite Jesus because that would be insane. And then I guess I would like to meet the very first of the Ohno family from Japan. And food—we would have whatever they wanted. Whatever Jesus wanted, whatever the man wanted—I’m not saying we’re not going for Mexican; hey if they want nachos, they can have nachos. They can have whatever they want, this one’s on me.” If you want to read the entire article (it's pretty interesting), it's toward the end of Page 1 on the 'Apolo Articles' thread on the General Board - it was Jennaceeta's post... Thanks Lori! After reading that I remembered reading it before. Thank you for finding it for me. ;D

I think he said one time that his biggest fear was 'struggling'. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong). He also hates bugs! I think I read somewhere before that he would be able to withstand a lot if they had hime on Fear Factor (heights, depths, etc), but he would never be able to eat bugs..... unless the money were to go to a big charity. AWWWW!

On the humerous side I'd like to know after peanut M&M's........what is his second choice of candy? He ate five Snickers bars while watching a competition in Austria. (according to an interview over on OZ). So....I don't know if Snickers bars would be number 2 but I would say that Snickers bars are another favorite.
