While I ADORE Kirkland and Lexi for many reasons, I'll vote for Daisymomma on the week of her surgery. We can all understand the healing boost of a GOTW honor!

Lexi for week 21 then?- for all the reason and more that I stated at the top of this thread.
Daisymomma, however, could use him this week for a little cheering up- and I'm sure she is in all our thoughts this week.

Kirkland. Just wanted you to know how much I admire you. I have been having a conversation about you with another member, but really, you should be acknowledged publicly. I really respect how you "step up" on what can often be delicate issues and unpopular opinions- and yet you always do so with true respect and diplomacy (unlike yours truly on the guest6 issue- who just "lost it"- no tact or diplomacy whatsoever! I admit it!)
That is a fine line to walk and no easy task- and you do it beautifully. Just thought You deserved to know how much you are appreciated.
EDIT & P.S. I like your avi by the way. I love vintage posters!

So sorry I totally missed this thread, but I vote for everybody, how is that for diplomacy?? I love you Lexi, and Kirkand, you both know how much, but Daisymomma, get better and enjoy Apolo, but I would have deferred Daisy until she felt better........what can you do to Apolo when you're sick...................well, just lying there having him hold you isn't too bad I guess, but heck, that's not when I'd want him.................

A big you thank you for Apolo!It helped.Sorry I haven't been on much I am recuperating slowly and it is taking me more time than I thought.The pain is getting better and thinking of the sexy speedskater helped.

Congrats, Daisymomma! I hope you're recovery is coming along well. I've had a great week... in more ways than one!  My *virtual week* took me to Japan, to visit the home of Yuki and Apolo's family and to hear Apolo converse in Japanese with his relatives!  Then we took a bullet-train trip south, to the island of Kyushu, where my family relatives reside. And then across the sea, to South Korea, where we all hope to see Apolo compete and win at the *World Championships* What a dreamer I am!!!  |
