That sounds fine to me - maybe we could have Lindsey 'stickie' it and release the other one. You wanna do it or should I? I think I can re-name this one so people don't get confused... would the new thread be where you'd want me to post my updates?

That way people who are looking for the new info for February don't have to wade through all the pics and info for December. Although I grant you, we lost a lot of it. I already started a new thread for the SLC nationals in the pictures area and posted what I had that was on photobucket already cleaned up. I have some of Lily's and yours too, as I uploaded them to photobucket so I could send them to OZ, not realizing I didn't need it for an e-mail.  So let me know if you want me to load your photos that I already have. I didn't put any captions, it's already going to be time consuming just to get all the newly cleaned up pictures loaded to photobucket and then posted. |

Since we lost about 30 pages of our SLC thread, some of us are leery of losing more info there, so we've started a new thread for the World Cup. We'll use the new thread for future info and updates, AND for your comments during the live feed (assuming there will be one) during the event.
Mtnme has started a new thread on the Pictures Board to re-construct the photos / videos that were lost.
Later today I'll transfer the most current info for people attending the event to the new thread... stay tuned!

I just wanted to address the HORRIFYING problem here in the thread. I've been searching around Proboards support for a solution, and I just don't understand what happened. Nothing has been deleted by any of the mods, and Proboards only suggests stopping a thread at around 1000 posts to avoid fritzing it out. We weren't even within a couple hundred of 1000, so it shouldn't have been a problem... As you can see, we have many, many large threads.
I'm devastated, and will keep looking for something, but it does sound like once they're gone, they're gone. I'm almost crying. Seriously. I'm so sorry to EVERYONE whose posts are gone...
However, I do like the idea of a new thread for the WC... I'll stickie it and unsticky this one.
Again... soooo...sorry...

We're moving on Lindsey. Don't feel bad, we'll have more 'good times' to come. You said we were under the max posts, but we had a lot of pictures and videos on it too, and that was the bulk of what disappeared. Could that have maxed it out?  (...or maybe it was just grace's bad joo-joo...) Should we perform an exorcism on this thread?  |

I am guilty of being lazy and not reading the whole thread, ooopsss Elle, Apolo's going to be competing in World Cup #6 in Salt Lake City, Utah, from February 8-10. Other than that, it will be whatever personal appearances he conjures up. We'll have to wait for the new schedule from USS to see where he'll be skating next fall and winter. PM me if you are planning on being in the vicinity of Washington D.C. or Baltimore. |

This is the thread we lost all the pages on, so we aren't posting on it anymore, lest we lose the rest. you can post this on the SLC pictures, in the the picture module though, which is where we re-posted all our photos.
