Heaven help me for reviving this vile thread when it finally fell off page 1, but I HAD to mention this...

At my Habitat for Humanity build this week we had a persistent kink in the hose we were using to mix mortar, and one of the guys said (I kid you not) "Hey, we need somebody on hose maintenance here!"

I was tempted to volunteer (I felt I had the proper expertise, of course), but instead I disappeared into our supply shed for a few minutes 'cause I didn't want to 'splain why I was doubled over laughing...
