Like I said, LAILA IS BRAVE, AND BOLD!

These some 24 hours are going to be NERVERACKING! Hopefully people recognize her arrogance and boldness, I know I sure do and I'm getting tired of it. I personally don't think that Cheryl should win, I mean, she has won the show twice.

I agree with you tdavis that the next 24 hours are going to be, as you said, "NERVERACKING"!!!! I did my duty and voted on the 3 email addresses, 1 landline, 1 cellphone that are available to me.

I only got in the landline phone, but vote I did. I tried w/ my cell, but pft. Laila, her and Maksim were okay, but it wasn't... I need the oomph, they didn't have it. *ducks* I don't know about the chachacha for Apolo and Julianne. It wasn't raunchy. Len's just old. But something about it didn't sit right with me. I don't know what it is. Just being honest. It was good, but... The Quick Step, how amazing. Don't hate me, all! I was just being honest...

Yeah, I can see where Len is comming from. It is a Cha Cha and it didn't really have the "Cha Cha Cha" rythym. But come on, it was way better than Laila.

10:45pm pacific and I just checked that dialidol thing. If it's accurate, then I believe Apolo is safe in spite of that wretched one point they put him behind the other two. Of course the online votes can go on longer from what I understand, but I don't have the strength to fret over it any further tonight. There'll be some nail biting tomorrow, but I think he'll make it through. -- I thought both of Apolo's dances were great. I don't like the way the judges are throwing the decision entirely to the voters since they are supposedly the experts. What's the point of having a judges panel if they're going to give [almost] everyone the same score, then leave it up to us? The scores should not even be based on who simply does well because by the semi-finals they're all obviously doing WELL. It's time to score on who's making that extra effort. Who went for the higher level of difficulty. Oh well. Nite all.

They were fantastic! I only watched the cha-cha, which I might add was HoT! lol, the first I missed...the second i just caught on time because of Heroes...so I don't know how everyone else did? :let me know: I voted online because I tried calling and yes the phone lines were soooooo busy ...and when I tried calling again it was too late ...so lets see what happens tomorrow...I'll switch between that and House...it shall be hard...I want them to stay in the game soooooooo bad!

I though A & J did a fantasically awesome job with both their dances last night. The quickstep was amazing! I love those leaps she puts in the dance, and Oh My Word that Cha Cha was so sexy and hot! boy did they "move it!" *phew!* But Len, he's so dumb...raunchy? no it wasn't! too much gyration? Um, I don't think so!

Well, I guess we will all be on pins and needles till tonight. Tdavis, I know what you mean about Laila, but I actually find her refreshingly strong and confident. She knows her strengths and she plays them up, which I think is cool. You want cocky, just look at her partner. Maks is the kinda smart-mouthed, big-headed, full-of-himself, know-it-all that makes you want to slap him across the face (hard)... and then have his grab you and wrestle you to the floor in a passionate kiss. *Oh, um, did I write that?* LOL!
I feel just horrible for Julianne. Len's comments seemed rather personally directed at her and you could see it hurt her feelings. You could see her deflate. Raunchy is the last thing a nice mormon girl wants to be called. The dance was very provactive, but raunchy? Raunchy is what you get in a strip club. Perhaps Len was also having more difficulty embracing the dance because Julianne is so young. Some of the other dancers, both male and female, professional and celebrity, have pulled out some pretty overtly sexual moves (think Billy Ray's "who's your Daddy" pelvic thrust) but they have not been criticised for it, and they are all older.
I think Apolo and Julianne were trying to appeal to the 20 something crowd they encountered at Wango Tango, so they decided to throw in some club-type moves. Hopefully voter appeal will make up for that one little point.
Tabs, I got the impression that the Cha Cha Cha might have been a stretch for Apolo in the "authenticity" department. It was a stretch for him to convey the mood of that dance in such an in-your-face sort of way. It's just not him. He's no chip-n-dale dancer. He's more of a "gentleman in the street, freak in the bed" kinda guy, don't ya think? Maybe that's what you picked up on.
Whatever happens tonight, I think the couple eliminated can walk away knowing that they gave it their best shot. All the couples have all worked so hard and improved so much since the beginning. I think the judges are blown away by how good everyone has become. That's why there were so many 10s given out.
Fingers crossed for tonight!
Hahaha, Sinister, I Karma you for being able to form complete sentences in the middle of the night, for using the word "shall" and for developing a bonafide strategic plan for how to fit in all your television entertainment options within a limited time budget. Brava!

I felt bad for Julianne when I saw her on the news last night. She said she felt embarrassed because raunchy means nasty and she never meant for it to be nasty. Apolo came to her defense immediately saying that it wasn't raunchy, not at all. Bless him! The thing is, if she hadn't brought the fire and passion to her choreography all these weeks, they would have been on her about that no doubt blaming her youth. Just can't please some judges. Perhaps Billy Ray got away with his "who's your daddy" because his lack of grace made it look more comical than sexual. Nobody is going to be much offended by a dancing donkey no matter how provacative it gets. Apolo's moves on the other hand were more believably exciting, and therefore had more of a WOW factor than Billy's did. If not that, then I just don't know. Now I'm going to go sprinkle some cinnamon and sugar on my fingernails so they'll at least taste good while I'm biting them tonight.

Apolo and Julianne did an outstanding job last night!
The results show will be on in a couple of hours here and I am very nervous. I know our guy deserves to be in the finals and win, but you just never know how the audience's votes will go.
It was great to see so many shots of Shani and Rusty supporting Apolo!
August, I noticed while reading this thread that your early guess as to why Apolo chose to do the Cha Cha again matched his explanation in one of his backstage interviews perfectly! Nice!
