DWTS Episode 6

Tonight's the night! How are they gonna top a perfect score? Will they have had enough practice time this week with the busy schedule? We'll just have to watch and see!

I liked their dance, but it wasn't as hot as last weeks. At least they still got one 10 in their score, and I agree 28 isn't bad. The swing dance was cute, and too funny when Laila picks Apolo up.

I liked their Rumba tonight to me it was sexy...I didn't think it would top their Samba, but they got pretty good scores.

The group Jive was cool...Apolo did a great job in it...the "leap frog" between A&J was whoa!

Whooo what a long night! Drives me nuts when Apolo is among the last to dance. It was worth the wait though, because I thought he did quite well. Since there was a tie for first, I wonder who will encore? I forgot how it was decided when they had that absurd four way tie a few weeks back. Well, we shall see. The group dance was fun. Reminded me of an episode of The Monkees for some reason. I think that in order to accommodate everyone, they brought down the level of difficulty and were very generous with the allowance of free style. All in all, it was cute though. Hardest part was figuring out where to put my eyes, since I never knew where those I wanted to see would land. Alrighty, I'm off to cast my votes!

okay what dance was it? I soooo missed it sorry...but it was the return of Heroes! I mean Heroes like a month and a half...agonizing!!! I'm going to look for it on youtube...I seen the jive or was it...yeah the jive it was cute...(he looked john travolta!lol)...but i'll switch channels next week for shoo! Oh and I voted though! so I gave my little peace of grain?...

Hey Sinister! Silly girl - the Jive was a couple of weeks ago, but they did a group dance that was jive-like. Tonight they did the Rumba. I think Julianne's brother really helped Apolo a lot. I agreed with Bruno, I thought the choreography was like poetry. Even though she was sick, Julianne still pulled it out. What a pro! I loved her dress - my favorite so far. Yuki looked great all dressed up and he was such a proud Papa!

Yep, the swing was the group dance, and no doubt on youtube as well. Check it out, it was fun. The rehearsal for that was cute too (even the obviously staged bits). I had to laugh when Apolo whirled around and accidently landed in Laila's cleavage. Baby, you're not the first. Shorter guys have ALWAYS enjoyed dancing with tall girls for that exact reason. And finally some Yuki! Proud papa standing, smiling, and applauding... with a big pretty ring on his finger! I heard he was engaged. Guess he finally took that dive. Congrats daddy! I don't know how long he's staying in town, but hopefully they'll let him show up at one of the rehearsals like Ian's dad and Joey's kid. All in all it was a good evening, but as I said before a loooong one.

Apolo and Julianne did an excellent job last night, as usual!

I loved the rehearsal and performance interactions between Apolo and Laila. I felt like they did that just for me (hahaha) since I'd noticed how Apolo likes to shimmy up against Laila backstage and thought it would be nice for him to get to dance with her. The look on his face and the sounds he made when she twirled him into her chest were hilarious!

August, when Yuki stood up and clapped, I also noticed the nice ring on *that* finger and wondered if it meant he and his lady friend had tied the knot. I had forgotten about it, but just now when I read your post, I did a search and couldn't find any info on them getting married.

That seems strange since that would usually at least be announced in their local newspaper, not to mention that someone probably would have mentioned it on OZ. So now I'm not sure what to think. Maybe the ring means nothing, but it would be nice if our thoughts are correct. It was great to see him there looking very proud of his son.

OMG!!! Apolo & Julianne looked soo professional!!! The performance was sooo Hot & Sexy!!
And Apolo raising Julianne's leg up, d**n that was just amazing! OK Apolo will make it to the finals.....he's just gotta!!

The group swing seemed soo fun. I loved the part where Laila picked up APolo!! that was soo funny.

OK on a side note, after Ian & Cheryl's performance Carrie Ann said that Ian should be like Billy Ray ( not technicality-wise), more let go....I thought that was a buRnnn!!! LOL

I had to go back and watch the clip to find the part where Apolo accidentally lands in Leila's bosom. I completely missed that the first time!

And speaking of bosoms, I thought it was pretty funny to watch Apolo squirm during his and Julianne's rehearsal, with her brother looking on, when she threw herself toward him and he caught her by the hips with her cleavage just a whisper away from his nose. It was an intimidating move on it's own, but with her brother standing there watching, that sorta raised the stakes! *giggle*

I also think it's hillarious when Julianne is yelling at him saying "What was that!?! That was NOT sexy and sensual!", and the rest of us are drooling just watching him sit in the chair!

LOL... I just finished watching the episode from last night (made the screencaps, yaay!). Anyways, I just have to say I love seeing Apolo this way. He seems so natural and relaxed, especially during rehearsals. He's the youngest of the performers (correct me if I'm wrong), and he seems to be the light-hearted kid of the bunch, always joking/smiling/etc. He's adorable.

I just watched it today...I was so amazing! It was a sexy dance, both of their dances were great, they have to make it all the way. I would cry if they didn't or raise hell one of the two! I'm thinking and watching the dances and saying "he's not a professional dancer?" He has a body of one and all...he could so kick as*!

Well no big surprises in the results show. Our boy is safe for another week. Oh, who am I kidding? He's safe for at least another month. And it looks like Laila is the last lady standing. She managed to not only out-pretty, but also out-dance all her female competition. Go Laila! Joey is a total ham sandwich, but he's growing on me. Not enough to steal any of Apolo's votes from me, but at least enough so I'm not rolling my eyes at his antics. I'll wager they'll be the last three. The more people get eliminated, the more filler is required to round out the show. I'm fine with that as long as it's rehearsal footage. I'd trade rehearsals for all that wretched singing. Onward to next week then. If the next episode drags, I'll be prepared with a well stocked liquor cabinet and a quart of ice cream.
