Yes, he's safe, and an audience member finally talked about Apolo. The lady said that Apolo and Julianne were like Cinderella and Prince Charming dancing at the ball. Yup, I agree because it was so romantic. Next week is gonna be HOT!!! They are either dancing the rumba or the samba. Either dance is hot with lots of hip action. ;D

Something else I noticed...
He is approaching this competition just like short track. He always talks about being "towards the front of the pack". It's like these early episodes are the qualifying rounds in short track. He hasn't pulled out all the stops yet - he's just trying to qualify. Finish in the top 2 or 3. Then towards the end, he's gonna let it rip!
Go Apolo!!!!

I knew that Joey would have the encore dance, I mean he is the best one so far.
But at the same time, I want to see Apolo do some other dances as well, like the Paso Doble and the Rumba and of course, the Tango. I think Apolo will do extremely well with these dances.
And I am finally glad to hear that both Apolo and Julianne will be putting more time into their practices. I think they are finally realizing two things if they practice more;
If they practice more, they could be great or Number 1
They probably didn't realize how close to winning they actually are or how good their chances are to winning.
I think they both realized those things last night ;D

I really think they 'faked' their maturity quite well! Cinderella and Prince Charming (or, as Bruno said, "the crown jewels") indeed! This show has so many puns with it, since it's dancing in a ballroom and Carrie Ann once said a dancer "had balls" for doing a gutsy move. So Billy Ray was talking about how he'd have to juggle balls and Karina echoed him. By the time it got to Apolo, he was like, "You have to juggle... schedules!" and the whole back room was laughing!

Hi, Manda. I'm sorry to say that I don't have a link to a clip. I have been searching for one hoping that someone would put it on YouTube or somewhere else. I'll continue to look, though, and will post it if I find it. It was sometime last week and the airing I saw was a repeat at around 1 AM, I think. Dr. Phil was sitting in for Larry King. Apolo and Julianne were only on for about the last five minutes of the show, unfortunately. First, Dr. Phil interviewed a contestant that was eliminated (Shandi) and a judge, Bruno. Then A&J came out and joined them. Phil said people were calling them the "king and queen of the prom" and talking about how cute they were together. Apolo replied that that was "a good thing" and that "the fact that people even ask those questions" (about if they're dating, etc.), means they are doing their "job" well and they will try to play up that chemistry in future dances. There was some lighthearted banter between Apolo and Bruno when Phil asked Apolo what he thought of Bruno as a judge. Apolo said something like Bruno brought "flavor" to the show and made things "fun," while Bruno warned Apolo to "be very, very careful" (to not insult him). There was a little more to the interview but not much. It was short but sweet.
