I would just say hello and tell him that I am proud that he represented our country very well at the olympics.

I don't thinkI'd do anything. It not in my nature. The one and only thing I'd do is freeze in my tracks a suddently forget to speak. After going back in my memory a thousand million times back into the moment I saw him, I'll probably go mad and begin to laugh.

If I ran into Apolo I don't know what I'd do. Probably be like 'sorry' or whatever and then shyly walk off. I'd be too shy to say other words than that lol.

I suppose you have to walk a fine line as a celeb. You want to be nice, but not too encouraging, especially with "raw public", 'cause you have no idea what any given fan is capable of. Most people are just curious and admiring, but there's a handful that have stalker potential, and I guess they gotta sorta be on guard... comes with the territory.

?? Do you mean Dido the singer, Dido; Dido, the princess of Tyre in Phoenicia who founded Carthage; or did you just terribly misspell ditto?

puzzled Guest,
If you stick around long enough, you'll learn to speak CG. She meant ditto.

When jokes are made about "speaking CG," I feel sad. Because what we're saying here is that CG types like (and probably is) a moron and people of normal intelligence must strain to glean any meaning from her posts.
Retards are people, too, and we should all try to be a little more sensitive.

No, what it really means is that we've chatted so much on this forum that I can sort of read between the lines and interpret what she's saying even if it's misspelled.
