what's with all the DQ's?! dang...
maybe it's the ice - making for bad passes?! i heard it was not ideal - kind of soft. :/

Night to those who have to leave us... Lucky Travis, can't believe Ho Suk Lee DQ'd Sorry for Allison, but that was a tough group with Wang Meng What's with the relays? no flashing numbers, and no updates..have they started yet? It says men's heat 1 on the live page but no numbers... I'm confused. And yes Apolo, from last to first in the last lap..once again he scared me! Same with Francoise Louis Tremblay...last minute into 1st place..held my breath..... Otherwise, pretty predictable so far and in spite of the soft ice ( mentioned in a CTV interview article), don't seem to be any falls yet...hopefully they're being careful .... Thanks to everyone for the imput...it's all I can do to keep score as we go on the heat sheets... Otherwise, all U.S. and Canadian skaters ( and Korean and Chinese) are pretty much advancing as expected... Japan and Gr. Brittain seem to be doing ok too....but it's still the same top 4 overall. I"m fading fast and may throw in the towel if we don't start getting some relay info... Hope Lori, and 19 and all those with colds from Marquette travels are feeling better.... Musical Mom

mens relay heats underway-flashing numbers are back ;D (top 2 in each heat qualify plus next 2 fastest third place finishers) Qualified: Canada 6.56.004(Hamelin, Hamelin, Jean, Bastille) Netherlands 6.56.734 China 7.00.438 Japan 6.59.940 Korea 6.52.989 Italy 6.53.235 ( only .246 behind Korea) USA 7.02.071 ( led almost all laps from beginning) Hungary 7.02.165 (only .094 behind USA)
Heat 4 Great Britain 7.01.419 Germany 7.01.499 Kazakhstan was DQ'd ( my ignorance but if one person dq's does the whole team get dq'd?) Bulgaria was advanced
Now I think we're on to women's relay heats MM

Good night Bubblebuttsbabe and a huge thank you for hanging in so long and posting complete results.....and for confirming my guess about how a whole team is DQ'd...Wow...kind of puts the pressure on doesn't it? I'm just adding highlights here and there and this will likely also be my last post tonight ( it's 3:45 a.m.) and I'm sagging So here are women's relay heats results....who qualified...... Canada (Vicent, St-Gelais,Gregg, Maltais) 4.22.330Hungary 4.22.427 USA (Reutter, Baver, Smith, Dudek) 4.24.601Italy 4.24.774 China 4.17.728 Japan 4.31.193 Korea 4.16.698 Netherlands 4.22.636 My parting observation...seemed that all races went up quickly with scarcely any time for a zamboni or break....and the results ( when working) were also posted really quickly...I always checked back before I posted because sometimes things changed ( like the Kas. dq)between results and lists. Hope I caught them all. Good morning everyone!! Musical Mom actually "twittering" with weariness!! See you tomorrow

Watching LIVE on Saturday and Sunday, Chinese videostream
Here's a link (thanks wikipaedia):
http://wwitv.com...5.htm
I remember using this last year, with no luck. YMMV, but if you read the comments on the page, you'll find that the people who had success with it had super-high internet speed, and most people (at least who posted) had no luck. These comments were in reference to other sports events being broadcast.
