Jay, his website has been updated. The reception and dinner are both today, Thursday, June 29th. I also confirmed the date with the Japanese embassy. The website mentions that Apolo will be attending the dinner with Mrs. Maria Kelly, a "long time family friend".
The website also has corrected the page number for the "In Style" photo, and you can see the photo there.

Married and older, huh. That is one trusting/foolish husband willing to risk the OFF and his spousal unit.

Agreed. She'd probably be looking at this thread ( if she were ever prone to do such a thing ) and think "Good God, are those women NUTS?!)
Long time family friends usuall do NOT think such things about someone's kid. At least, none I've ever known of.

Now Sara, this is a strange time and subject to start taking me seriously on. I'll try to remember the smilies next time for better clues as to my state of mind. Just to while away an idle moment though, neither "long term fammily friend" nor "Mrs." indicates she is older than he is and I know both divorced and widowed women who retain the "Mrs."

I don't remember ever seeing her age mentioned, but she could be young. And single. I think they just put that she was a long time family friend so that people would not start speculating about her and trying to link her romantically to Apolo. I think it was to say, "Hey girls...JUST GOOD FRIENDS!"

I sing as I jump up and down and dance around in circles... Maria Kelly!!! I knew it sounded familiar but I didn't want to say anything until I found where I had seen it before. Remember the letter from Apolo that was on AAO website thanking people for helping in his success. That is where it was:[/center] "Special thanks to family friends Maria and Robert Kelly"
