JR got the five points! ...and he wins! ;D He looks so spent. I have to admit that I had a hard time following that race. Me too. With all those people trying to lap the pack, I had a hard time remembering who was in 1st place. By the look on JR's face at the end, though, he didn't have a problem knowing who was in 1st!

Boy, the Korean announcers are going through that 3000 with a fine-tooth comb. They are really looking closely at JR -- as well they should.
I have to wonder if Apolo's equipment issues hampered him at this World Champs.

I agree -I had a hard time following. the small screen makes them all look like ants and the large screen is so fuzzy that unless the camera is right up close and personal, I couldn't follow who was who. But Great Job JR - you little cutie, you! Apolo, we still love ya, and hopefully this is just part of a bigger 'plan'. justsayin' - *howling with laughter*...yeah, I noticed the worn out inner thign pad too! Them's some legs he's got there! Kick butts on the relay...and it's on to defending their World Team title.

let's hope it is just equipment issues... and not health-related! don't think we've seen all that he has to give yet, though... perhaps this is part of the strategy, letting the others get exposure... think he is happy being on the "fringes", just out of scrutiny... boy, the Koreans have GREAT TV coverage, don't they? sheesh... what a shame we cannot...

With the exception of J.R. and Lee's overall finishes, I'm sorry but this was a sucky world championship. Just the venue, the skating, and everything.

if I right-click on the small screen, get the option of going to full-screen... lose a little in definition, but still can see better! :>)

ah, i'm trying really hard not be a debbie downer about this, but i'm kind of sad that apolo didn't do better and the only reason for this is because this worlds might be his last. after the last two olys he's always opted out of worlds and i'm sure that if he does retire next year, he won't be going to worlds. i just wish it had been better for him.
however, like number1 said, i'll probably feel better once apolo says something. lol.
ANYWAY, omg - GO JR!!!! goodness that is so freakin' awesome. and to lee, all things considered, knowing he's always been #2, i'm very happy he made it on top this time around. and lastly, hamelin, see you in vancouver - cause you totally represented this weekend. :]
CONGRATS EVERYONE. ;D
oh, ON TO WORLD TEAMS!! :]
